And i vehemently disagree with the addition of one button rotation anyways. You can say the same about mw towards many other specs.
The pruning TOOK AWAY COMPLEXITY that you so desperately want back, but for ALL class not just healers! BM hunter does really really well on one button rotation for example <3
So you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Let me educate you, if a tank gets hit from behind, they take full damage, no DR, and if you are sitting down it counts as a crit.
So for a warrior if you have any IP it gets eaten instantly and your shield, that is in front of you, does zero blocking. Even if you have Demo Shout up, it’s still only 25% less damage with no other DR happening.
It’s why you always see tanks moving about constantly even when they have enemies gathered, because if you have too many enemies grouped they can move around and get past the 180 degree range that your DR counts, even if an enemy is to the side of you, if they go past the 180 degree arc they are now counted as behind you.
I would have thought someone doing 18s would know this, but sadly that just cements the idea that people are hard carried and don’t really know how mechanics work in this game.
They heal in 18s, you can find their main linked to this alt on RIO. Which is sad because they sound like they only do lower keys.
If damage goes up at the same amount as health goes up, you just nerfed healers. The only thing this is really going to impact is pvp as healers at least are probably going to get a buff to compensate.
Oh OK, I am SO SORRY I didn’t realise base tank mechanics changed when you went into higher keys, how silly of me to assume all tanks had to deal with the same mechanics.
Nah it’s got almost nothing to do with iLVL or key level, to a degree, there is a reason why tanks should not be turning their back on mobs, it takes away all the DR they have when facing them front on.
You increase player health then increase enemy damage by the same amount. And the expected result is:
I am starting to think they don’t understand how math works.
If you have 100 health and the enemy does 100 damage you end up with 0 health.
With the change if you have 125 health and the enemy does 125 damage you end up with 0 health… No change at all.
This change they are wanting to do is one of the most baffling things i have seen from them in a long time.
Yes we will have more health so white hits will not hurt as much but casts and tank busters are still going to hit for the same so i don’t get this idea of we are going to smooth dmg going forwards the white hits were never the issue it was the missed interupts and the tank busters just hitting for insane numbers.
While we are increasing overall creature damage with this change, we are hand tuning encounter abilities to deal appropriate damage alongside these changes to meet our goals.
