Give tanks a 10% damage reduction passive and healers a flat 10% healing increase across the board so they can do their jobs, thanks.
Threads like these are always funny when people are timing +12s with very little gear 3 days after the season starts.
Blizz would be silly to do what you’re asking…and most players will continue to progress as they get gear. I could definitely see an argument for this season being undertuned.
(Edit: For reference, there have been 5930 time +10s or higher so far)
Here’s the core issue.
Casual healers complained they were asked to press their dps buttons as a part of their rotation, and complained so much so that blizzard actually listened and gutted tanks so hard to the point healers have to actively heal 100% uptime or they fall over.
Honestly you can blame the ppl who top out at 1500 io and play for 4 weeks a season as to the reason why healing and tanking is so absolutely awful right now

I walked into a heroic dungeon and the kobold… it just ignored the tank. He screamed at it… hit it… posted a rickroll, but nothing the kobold never let the tank do his job. ![]()
Funny thing I’ve tried both those jobs… but every time I tank the healer never healed me and just sat around with their thumb up their nose and when i tried to heal the tank was a moron who rather than keep aggro and do their job they ran off to who knows where then threw a tantrum that nobody was able to follow them so they rage quit calling everyone scrubs. Yeah nah… I’m staying DPS… I’m sick of griefers and trolls by this point.

Since people are saying Paladin tanks are the squishiest, I can say that we do not need damage reduction. Play your defensives right and group needs to stop spells/abilities.
Those people are statistical outliers
Sure.
But the point is that the OP is asking for Blizz to make the content easier by buffing tanks/healers when people are essentially “beating” M+ in a few days. Their suggestion will only increase the number of people in that category and make seasonal progression that much faster.
Of course, some people might argue that’s a good thing…
But you aren’t one of them, so it only serves to prove that the best players in the world will always do things we can’t, and that tuning content around them isn’t casting a wide enough net to touch upon the needs of your overall player base.
Though I don’t think a flat 10% buff to tanks/healers does anything.
M+ hasn’t even been out a week, lol.
Tanks and healers can do their jobs just fine.
When they’re not trying to do content they are obviously undergeared for.
I’ll consider it when I get a pay raise.
The same people would move up one key level and be unable to do their jobs again, so it won’t change anything,
Blizzard really wants everyone to climb the gearing ladder, and for dps to interrupt the incoming bad, or not stand in the bad.
This is some of the most fun healing ive had in a while. Id rather things be like this instead of how things where in df.

10% extra healing ain’t gunna stop the things that cause most wipes (mechanical failures)
things would be much easier if people learned the mechanics
