While hunting down the Patrannache (a stealth elite named Crane that is pink in Valley of the Four Winds and has a 1 hour patrol path) for a couple hours I was able to locate this stealth birb. I flared and frost trapped and captured Patrannache and felt super accomplished. However, when the animal popped up under my characters control, its name was just Crane… I suppose I can accept this.
However, if you go over to 56, 33 in the same area there is another Crane named Kracor. Easy regular quest spawn, and not an elite either… But you tame it, and its name is Kracor…
I get that you can name change your pet, however, why does this seem inconsistent and unrewarding? Couldn’t this be fixed by making Patrannache an elite rare to honor the hunt?
