Taking my stand for 30d gametime

I’ll be honest, it was kind of on purpose. :stuck_out_tongue:

Quite obviously not there. It has been stated more times than I can count where to get your 30 days at a time. Either you are to lazy to figure it out or you refuse to do it in a way that you get access to that option. (Hint: It has been an option to purchase 30 days, this way, since day 1 and still remains that way.)

Either way. There’s nothing for you to stand on if your only complaint is that you can’t find a way to get 30d at a time.

Hopefully there will be more like you… That’s literally the only way they will listen if it hurts their pocketbook

WoW is not just in the more “successful” (we’re rome soon) countries

The vast majority of the country’s that play wow have debit cards…

thanks for agreeing with me

And countries like Brazil, Argentina Latin americcountries The ones that can afford Internet and wow and A PC Most likely have debit cards… I know my husband’s brother does And he lives in Rio

what would you say about some of the people in the united states not even using debit cards sans the possible form of stimulus check they’ve gotten

And I say the vast majority of them are not playing wow Or any monthly subscription games

it’s interesting that one side of this discussion keeps talking about a majority and the other is talking about the simple fact of it existing

Honestly why should a business cater to 5% I guessing it’s less then that, that don’t have a debit card of their player base seriously

because then they lose 5% of that playerbase

Why should a business keep a paid option for 5% of playerbase? And that 5% is made up, could be 10%, could be 20%, even 30%.

Options are good.

This was move of greed, nothing else.

Because it’s what they’ve been doing for the last… 16 years? Why change now? Why change at all? There’s no reason.

True but a very Calculated one

Yes, the moment they started adding 6 month mounts, was clear they wanted people to sub for as long as possible, and some to forget to cancel their subs.

This is scummy, nothing else.

If you were using gold to buy 30day time cards only, you were literally throwing money(gold) away.
Because of digital goods tax it was more cost effective to just redeem the token for 30 days of time in-game.
The change literally doesn’t impact people who only want 30d at a time with gold.

It does suck for people who were using b.net balance to buy the 90/180 options at a discount though.
Also this is partly to blame on people abusing VPN to get cheaper subs/game time.
That whole “one rotten apple spoils the bunch” type of thing.

Not really a lot of them just buy the 2 months or use debit card like blizard Wants them to

You need a reality check. Giving away store mounts for free is a promotion. That’s it. It’s not “scummy”

If you don’t want to sub for 6 months at a time, don’t. You can buy those mounts for $25 dollars whenever you want, and you can pay full price for your monthly sub.

Do you complain about Amazon Prime offering a discount if you buy a year membership vs paying monthy?

Do you complain about “buy 2 get 1 free” offers at the supermarket?

Some of the people on this board love to feel indignant and victimized over the smallest things.

If you’re worried about “forgetting” to unsubscribe that’s on you. Personal responsibility. Blizzard can’t be expected to be a mind reader knowing when you wanted to turn off your subscription. You’re going to have to be responsible for subscribing and unsubscribing when you want.

Do you complain to Netflix and Hulu when you “forget” to unsubscribe?

Companies are not “scummy” for offering promotions or because you “forget” to unsubscribe to their services.

And pray tell, why do they promote it for subscriptions, and not for gametime purchases?

You really don’t believe that move is to lure more people into subscribing over purchasing gametime?

And then when it doesn’t work out to extent they wanted, they just flat out remove 30d option, to force people into subbing.
