I switch a lot when mining/herbing because sometimes it’s hard to get a DR mount to where the node is.
This 5 second cast time is asinine and pointless.

Yeah, this sucks, plain and simple. I want to be able to mount a normal flying mount if I need precise control over where I’m going or landing. Or when I’m constantly mounting and dismounting (like when herbing, mining or picking up tackleboxes) - which means I’ll be sitting on the ground waiting for vigor to refill because the whole system is clunky and designed to waste people’s time because…metrics!

Skyriding will be available from the start in Khaz Algar and players will be able to unlock steady flight at maximum level by exploring the zones of The War Within and completing the campaign.
Is backwards. The best flight should be the one to wait for, not the old school been in the game forever flight.

Back in vanilla we often had to sit and eat between fights. Now we need to occasionally let our dragon rest. To me this is more immersive, and i haven’t needed to stop and regenerate for a long time. Sure it is a bit more difficult to land on a branch, but over all it is quite easy. If severely dissabled, i hope you can catch a ride with a friend.

Well, some people struggle to do certain content, like Mythic raiding.
You can just accept that you’re not good enough with Skyriding and move on.

Personally, i would prefer mounts to be one or the other and not all toggled. That way we can choose which mount we want to use.
Edit. Have really enjoyed being able to skyride on all my flying mounts.

Seems reasonable to me, keep the multiboxxing army away from the game for at least 2 seasons and allow people to actually use the gathering professions for making gold.
Once they released the “TBC flying” in DF, prices went down 90% and you see the flocks of druids (40 of them or so) everywhere gathering everything), and they don’t need to dismount because the profession allow them to do so, and they collect with so much coordination.
Nah. I don’t support these, so Skyriding keeps them away at least <3

Well that is a very annoying restriction on non-dynamic flight mounts.
At the moment I’m using a macro that lets me right click my mount button to get on a non-dragonriding mount on the occasions that it’s useful. I’d been hoping to keep doing that by switching that secondary mount to one of the few non-dynamic mounts in TWW to save having to switch modes but they’re explicitly blocking that sort of thing.

You remind me of those people that hate transmog so much, they wanted a toggle to turn all transmogs off, because they thought half the players wouldn’t want it. A small subset of people that have pretty much gone extinct these days, but will occasionally pop-up out of their hidey hole and complain about the system.
That’s where your kind will end up eventually.

I agree. It is weird that it’s a 5 second cast time and doesn’t make much sense. It hasn’t given anyone an advantage in game yet. People still need to land to change mounts.

If they made regular flying the same speed as DR, a lot of people, myself included, would never touch DR again except maybe for races.

Exactly. I can’t speak for non druids, but it’s nice to have static flight form because we can interact with quest objects while flying. Any quest that requires you to like burn something or gather something is a breeze for us.

You do know the only reason to hide a profile is so that people can’t watch you type responses, yes? Everything else is easily found, from armory to posts to ignores.
But on the subject, Hence’s argument doesn’t make sense, because people still multibox with dynamic flying and bots figured out dynamic flying in beta.
