Probably, because I don’t carry for free.
You would have to pay me to carry you! At least, you admitted you were wrong.
Unable to make friends? No worries Blizzard will make some for you. Guaranteed not to vote kick you for your garbage play and they will never hurt your feelings all while providing you with a safe space.
Is it bad if I want a comfy safe space in a video game?
Absolutely, I’d also expand it to timewalking as well. It would be nice to be able to solo the weeklys on my rats when they roll around.
But will the AI yell slurs at me? I need the full experience here.
“Become the evil you abhor!”
Gatekeeping is gatekeeping, whether it’s done to you or you are the one who has to do it.
I am intrigued and would love to have this for leveling dungeons. Especially given the way Chromie time splits the queue up (which is mildly infuriating lol).
Nice. The next step is to add this to M+
Unless it’s possible for the AI to fail the content, they’ll always be doing an easier version.
If it is actually possible for the AI to fail, I imagine a lot of people will be unhappy, considering the general rage we get anytime queueable content isn’t a guaranteed win.
with a little help from a few npc teamates? nice.
Really cant wait for this to be added to LFR in the future. Can get a good sense for what to do and when without wasting other peoples time. I mean its not like the same level gear cant be obtained from the open world so why not. Matter of fact i have two family members that play but don’t do LFR because they well aren’t the best at the game but enjoy playing nonetheless. This would bring them into doing more content and they are already excited for this follower system.
Way to grossly misrepresent a point. Even token purchasing and buying a run is still more interactive than a bot carrying players through content. There is no need for this system to go into higher gear tiers mainly because the challenge of those tiers is precisely HOW players work together.
Again the point is just to let people fully experience the dungeons, to meander, to read the dialogue and the RP and such and really take it in – while at the same time learning their role, class, and how it interacts with other classes represented by the AI. That’s all.
I don’t think Blizz intends for AI dungeons to be like, actual gear sources beyond normal level gear which is already available in world solo content.
Yeah I agree that this really shouldnt go past normal for dungeons and LFR for raids. Make normal mode queue-able but require something like the old CM silver system and no determination buffs. Or was it proving grounds? I don’t remember what it was called. If they really wanted to go nutts do heroic too but require gold(rank not currency) to queue.
It would actually be hilarious if Blizzard randomized your AI teammates
Group 1 - Solid team, interrupts, crowd controls, high dps, good healing, good positioning
Group 2 - Decent but rarely interrupts, no crowd control, fails half of the boss mechanics
Group 3 - Fails at everything. Stands in all the bad. Blames the other npcs. Hearthstones out after the second wipe blaming the npc tank leaving you to wait in queue for more AI followers.
You forgot the best one…
Rage pulls.
I think this is a nice addition. I don’t think it’s needed for heroic or mythic. I would like to see M0 put into a group finder since you don’t need a key for it. Also, I would point out that currently normal dungeons are able to be solo’d by people who have gotten decent gear from the emerald dream. Also, heroic isn’t far off from that. My wife and I can walk through any heroic dungeon in DF with ease. It’s nice to grab the vault rewards each week, and we don’t have to deal with the toxic community. I love grouping and working through dungeons and raids with other people, just not in this game. Not sure how you fix it, and most people are fine but the odds of getting a toxic person are just too high. If even 1 in 5 dungeons gets 1 toxic it’s too much for me to even mess with. I still love wow, it’s a great game, but for some reason it pulls in too many people I’d rather not group with.
I’m still curious where you people keep finding all of these “toxic” players. In the nearly 20 years I’ve been playing, I’m pretty sure I can count on my hands the number of times I’ve ran into horrible people in dungeons lol.
Perfect for m0
Dragon Age: Origins was kinda like that.
