Take Stealth away from Outlaw Rogues

I want sub rogue to use fist weapons like shredder and outlaw rogue should totally have an old school gun slot for pistols.

A hybrid melee/ranged would be kind of fun

Uh, excuse me?

Honestly yeah. I’d be fine if Outlaw was re-envisioned to be some part ranged. Would be kinda cool to have a full blown musket. Maybe some ranged AOE stuff.

I agree. Take it away … and give it to DHs.

This is why they need to introduce pistols / 1h xbows into the game. Make Outlaw Rogues a 1h melee + offhand pistol, and change Survival Hunter into a midrange spec dual wielding pistols. BM can be the melee hunter spec, then, coz Rexxar.

We are criminals and we need it to pick pocket and surprise our enemies at the first strike of course Outlaw rogues need it. Not to mention we do other rogue things like sap.

Starting a fight with cheapshot is the equivalent of a UFC Fighter starting a fight with a punch to the gonads.

BiS is Adrenaline Rush for full combo points → Killing Spree to intimidate your prey into drinking their health potion imediately.

You gotta bum rush em like a drunk barbarian

Bro killing spree dosent even hit that hard lol, my one anbush would hit harder that you killing spree

Don’t take it away I like pickpocket, but yeah if i wanted to do stealth shenanigans I’d play sub, better yet just give me Combat back I never wanted the pirate crud anyway!

Let me live in my delusion i’m coping hard rn :disappointed_relieved:

I miss WOTLK-Era Killing Spree damage so much, dueling other Rogues was macaroni and cheese

I thought it was simply a fighting style, not a life style.

What is life if not a big and complicated battlefield?

the classic “I don’t like/use something, therefore no one should get it!” trolling

guys, one player doesn’t use one ability in the game. let’s remove it right now.

Because they feel and play differently. Rogue does not.

Again, this isn’t a knock against Rogue players, this is a knock against Blizzard for failing at Rogue design for, like ever.

Just because one puts a dot on a target and one doesn’t (which all specs do), well, whoopity dooo. Rogues have one of the worst thematic representations to date, and each spec is bound by the same model… it’s not great, to put it nicely.

Imagine if the only difference between Priests was the usage of Shadow Word Pain, but they all healed and had roughly the same rotations and feel. Is that good enough? Is that even remotely good enough? No, Shadow Priests have a huge array of abilities which thematically make them stand out, with strong unique visual representation which, again, makes them stand out… Rogues do not have any of this.

Rogues need to have more visually impressive abilities, because auto attacking, and auto attacking faster, just isn’t thrilling 20 years into the game.

I remember back in early 2000s before TBC launched, in WSG (back when ppl tried to win BGs), some NE Rogue wasn’t using stealth and trying to play D in flagroom. Myself and others told him to stealth and he insisted he is a “NON-STEALTHING ROGUE” . Well we were getting beat pretty bad and he was getting ribbed more and more because of it by people, and eventually he super had a meltdown about playing how he wants and I remember genuinely feeling bad for him- he was very serious about how he wanted to play his rogue
