It reminds me of dumping someone but then going back over and over telling them how much they suck, and doing that every time you dump someone. Instead of just moving on.
Also, the pulling numbers out of thin air and then calling someone else delusional after it’s called out is pretty funny. Talk about projection.

There are quite a few people with millions who don’t look like they have that (because they are saver types) and even more people who are deeply in debt with even negative net worths while living in fancy houses with nice cars. So no, this is not as simple as “looking at living standards” whatever that means, and knowing how rich someone is. There is A LOT more to it.

Have you worked in industry ? You think if you buy an automated production system and plug the electricity in, then you will have a chicken that forever gives you golden eggs. Just feed materials and it would give you the finished products forever ?
As you said, there are few among billions, so what ? That’s why it’s called estimation.
We all know there is no correct data for this case, only estimated numbers. But holding on the fact that we never have correct data to deny any estimations is just denial and delusion.
Its true enough that Era only players are a tiny niche whose sub fees probably arent making any noticeable dent in Blizzards bottom line. However, that doesn’t mean Era players have to be cool with crapped on with every change and patch.
That’s not Blizz’s intent of course so that should be kept in mind but it still sucks regardless. If this is how its going to go down every seasonal patch asking for an Era only client isn’t a crazy request.
I said that you don’t know a persons wealth based on how they look, because there are people who are so concerned with image that they spend all of their money on keeping up appearances while secretely being deeply in debt.
Try to get a mortgage or even rent an apartment while showing off your porche and nice clothes but not showing your finances. If you live life doing things based on popularity and appearances (and these things fit together) then you shouldn’t be calling others delusional.
You don’t know Blizzard numbers, and you have no reason to be coming to this forum these days.
I would guess it has to do with security updates. Regardless of the gameplay mechanics remaining static, there are always continuing security and infrastructure updates. These have to be kept up with or you get a huge task of updating multiple iterations of incompatible versions of things all at once. When something goes wrong, like a security vulnerability is found. Google log4j, not for the complexity of the fix but the scope of the commonly used loggers issue that had to be dealt with immediately.
I am also going to guess that is why they are on the same client. Somewhere along the way they decided that would be easier to maintain. And it probably is for some things, allowing for some bugs to spill, that they fix eventually or just write off.
Positing that Era’s base isn’t large enough to warrant its own client/separate server (or any demands really) is decent enough guesswork.
Assuming that’s the case, it still doesn’t excuse Blizz for all the mishaps when it comes to Era and SoD updates. If you want to run everything off the same client, do it right at least. If you can’t do it right then players, no matter how many or few of them there are, are entitled to their complaints and/or demands.

I think it’s this as well because it costs them extra time and money to “hide” things from Era too.
It’s still unfortunate for those of us who just like what the game was and don’t like the direction that something like SoD has taken where little things get changed on a whim.
Its very clear that doof hates vanilla and wants us as prisoners to play the game he personally likes most so he doesn’t feel all alone on his lonely game.
Its also clear he doesn’t play era because if he did then he would know how much a fool he looks.
