There seriously is no reason to make him smaller. Taivan’s size is part of his character, it’s played a significant role in his questline. This is so disappointing and I’m legitimately upset LOL. I have spent so much of my time trying to get this meta achievement and my motivation feels completely squashed.

People grinded incredibly hard for this achievement just for you to take away their main motivation for doing so. Being big was the only unique thing about Taivan, now it’s just another wolf mount reskin

Unnerf Taivan, this change is terrible.
I just genuinely don’t understand the point at all. Like, how you gonna give us a mount that is actively in the game, and make it smaller than the thing that it is? (Lore Tavian is still the same size while mount Tavian is smol now) What brainlet made this decision man. This is literally Blizzard spitting in the face of it’s players. Which is blatantly obvious this time around.

Please revert this change, Blizzard. Taivan’s mount size was a non-issue, and given the considerable effort involved, there are other legitimate problems with the mount itself (not pitching to slope, jump animation timing, idle swimming animations, etc.) that deserve attention.

Is the Taivan mount size change a bug or an intended change? I have to assume it’s a bug because the mount was close to the actual NPC size, and the mount’s size did not disrupt gameplay in any way that I noticed. There are many considerably larger ground mounts, so I’m at a loss for why this change was needed.

Just got this precious boi today. Still love him, though I wish I had a chance to ride him when he was still huge.
People are treating it like it’s a bug, and since no blue post has been officially made, it could very well be a bug, but It seems more like a stealth nerf for whatever reason. Only time will tell.

Please change it back. He looked fine the way he was. At most maybe make the saddle smaller but I don’t like how small Taivan is right now. I’m giving up on the achievement otherwise

I find it absolutely hysterical that we have WoW Community Council posts also calling this change ridiculous, and in the next couple of posts up we have a community manager talking about how they’re working on fixing the primal storm issues that seem to exist. Classic misdirect from ol’Blizz. Do something no one asked for, only to “fix” a problem that wasn’t actually a problem before. This reminds me of one of those “how the military fixes things” YouTube videos where the dude drills a hole in a table that has no holes, for whatever reason, only to then weld said hole and make it look as though it was never there." Keep up the “good work” community managers and devs. I’m sure your mom and dad will keep tucking you in at night and telling you what a “good” job you did and how much of a hard worker you are.
