It’s doing it for leatherworking also, most crafted gear say requires level 50 or 51, but when you make it the required level changes to the actual number. It is most likely a UI bug in the profession crafting menu. Edit: After some testing it seems that as you level up the profession crafting menu will change to your characters own level, I just hit lvl 52 and now they all say requires level 52.
