I earned nightfallen exalted on a toon that I played in Legion but switched mains in BFA…and I have a set that would go perfectly with that tabbard but apparently I can’t use it…I thought once earned xmog was account bound. If tabbards are the exception that’s ridiculous to have to get exalted with multiple toons just to earn that mog.
they are account bound
You have to buy the tabard, it doesn’t automatically get added once you hit exalted.
i did buy it and put it on
switched to the realm my dh was on went to go mog it and it says I haven’t earned that appearance
perhaps i should post this in the bugs section?
does it still have the trade timer active?
i thought once you put it on the trade timer is gone…but good point i’ll check
I thought the trade timer is only for things not bought with gold or things dropped off bosses in instances. A tabard bought with gold shouldn’t have a trade timer.
not trade timer refund timer
why wouldn’t it?
if it’s still got the timer, set it as favorite, log over and check the other character and see if that helps
same same
(apparently words are interchangeable around here, op knew what i meant!)
Same idea, the Nightfallen tabard is bought with gold isn’t it? It shouldn’t have a refund timer.
things bought with gold do have a refund timer (well some items at least usually expensive ones)
When I checked it had no timer…but setting it to favorite worked thx so much to everyone for replying…
that was really strange I wonder what happened there
Just went in game and checked and it does have a refund timer. OP put it on and transmog it to something else. That will remove the timer.
or just fav it which they did
tried that but didn’t work xD
setting it to fav as @Nobully suggested worked
What I meant was put the tabard on the toon that bought it and then have that toon transmog the Nightfallen tabard to another. That works too. I was not aware that you could favorite gear, that’s even quicker.
yea i actually did mog the tabbard into a different one…still didn’t work…
idk seems like a bug…not as bad as I thought since there’s a quick work around but still.
I also didn’t know you could favorite items…that’s really helpful actually
You can also delete it to permanently add it to your collection.
It’s not a bug. If something is on a sell back timer, the game doesn’t add it to your transmog library for your entire account. once that timer is gone (ie, you now can’t sell it back) then all characters can transmog it.
Pretty sure it does, to get rid of it though just transmog over to of it.
