No I don’t think the tabard or undead cleansing set should come back.
The last thing the game needs is more spitting in the face of veteran players
were they spitting in the face of vanilla players when they re-released the argent tabard in the wotlk prepatch?
Veteran player here, I think the undead cleansing sets should come back.
It’s not like they were some sign of skill, they were literally giveaways.

As much as I wish I got both, I agree. I don’t think they should bring back things listed as limited time only. There are a couple of exceptions but this isn’t one of them (in my book.)
it’s a scourge invasion. it’s right that they at least release a shadowlands quality re-do of undead slaying and a high quality argent tabard

Now that I think about it, Im not sure I ever got the helm during the Wrath opening. 
Argent Dawn tabard was originally in Classic’s Scourge invasions, then it was re-available in the Wrath Scourge Invasion pre-patch. There isn’t a good reason why it shouldn’t come back for this 3rd Scourge Invasion.
Bringing back the Wrath Pre-Patch sets and the OG Argent Dawn Tabard (Or hell maybe some new HD Argent Crusade Tabard blizz?) Would be cool.
All of the rewards this pre-patch are just not good they are stuff already obtainable in the game. This just feels really lazy they could’ve used the unreleased Tier 3 variations of the sets they are showcasing.
