System whiners got their wish

Personally i really wanted them to add M+ system but for world quests oh well one can dream.

Been hearing that sentiment a lot, and has me very hopeful about it. I beg Blizzard to stay true to that trajectory.

The daily stuff is great…IF its not the same half dozen boring quests over and over and over till Im wondering how the new ESO expansion is right now, lol.
They need to have like 10 times the dailies SLs had so we arent seeing them every day or two.
DF is pretty huge. Id like to see all those little outposts and villages tossing up a quest or two over the next two years. Its like most of the map becomes fly over after 6 weeks into the expansion. What a waste of time and resources to just so much of the map die.

having been playing in the beta for a while myself… I can tell you this is entirely false. There will be no different with and without an AP grind… the bottom line is people dont mind having “nothing” to do… they do mind having things they are “forced” to do.

and keystones and raids and RBG’s and arena and WPVP and time walking and achievement hunting and storylines.

You know, things that feel like playing a video game instead of doing a chore.

I can agree to an extant, but WoD exactly this.

It launched players right into the bread and butter of WoW MMO content. No chores, no grinds, just jump into content and go.

Rep grinds were not timegated and were optional since they didn’t give player power.

Garrisons had a ton of features that were optional because they didn’t give power.

And the feedback was “there is nothing to do”

So why do we expect DF to be any different?

WOD’s problem was that garrisons were isolating and Ashran was not an adequate replacement for a capital city.

Garrisons crashed the gathering economy, and removed the reason for people to actually go out into the world.

Definitely agree. Ive played 3 classes, 4 characters so far in DF and the content actually makes me WANT to play it again.
In both BFA and SLs it was abject dread just thinking about running an alt. Same with WoD. Legion was pretty decent content so I could ignore the AP grind a lot…that I was doing it, that is.

Content matters. Make the content great and I’ll want to play, AP/rep/whatever grind or no.

Doing what, out of curiosity?

didn’t they say there was going to be kind of super rare items that will drop that are powerful but not boring as well?think dragon trophy ext.

All those beautiful quests. lol.

If you ask me, chores should be optional content.

Make more new mini games that is fun and PvP enabled, or against NPCs. It will keep people engaged for a while. Did you know FF14 got Mahjong for you to play?

THIS! In Legion when I thought about leveling an alt I would quickly realize that I’d be starting over with a brand new Artifact Weapon to level up and just go back to my main or play a different game. In BfA it was the same thing with the HoA and Azerite gear. With Systemlands it was even worse, I had a Covenant to level up, Choreghast to do, Legendary Recipes and Conduits to grind … playing alts has been absolutely dreadful for three expansions in a row.

They actually have a backpack vendor in the one small village.
I dont know about the rest but Ive been very confused why this ADVENTURE RPG isnt literally filled to the brim with backpacks and pup tents lol.
Very confusing when I had been playing like a year and hadnt seen anything of the sort.
Do we NEVER spend the night out in the wild as adventurers? lmao.
The first thing Im grinding is the backpack mogs and there is also a tent toy made with tailoring Im going to rush to get. I think its actually a rest zone when its up, which is really RPG cool.

You mean to level?

Yeah very cool that is what im talking about as well im down for both power items and just stuff like this.

I loved WoD had 7 toons with full PvP gear. Hunted PvP hearts in the world. Ashran felt like a good mix of PvP and PvE, Truly Fun times. The raids was vary good

The big thing wow needs now is less time spent on huge Raids, with smaller content drops more often. I seen FTP and PTW games drop more content faster that blizzard.
New Wintergrasp/Ahsan type zone would be nice.

Is there a achievement for it?
