I like ESOs housing. I have had new furniture drop from world trash a few times. I got like 12 houses, most were bought furnished and Ive added some things. The storage chests are cool.
WoW can do housing Ion is fibbing outright if he claims otherwise. He just doesnt want to devote the manpower to do it.

It’s just a side thing like pet battles. Old Republic is go to the board, spend a million credits, own stronghold. Teleport to stronghold, spend more credits to unlock more rooms. Decos are from all content: crafting, flasbpoints, operations, quests, reps, events, etc.
I honestly haven’t seen a game treat it any other way.

Endless grinding because of borrowed power is indeed predatory game design.

Dragon Isles is basically a giant Zereth Mortis. People will be finished with the actual content a couple months in and from there, instead of being parked in Oribos doing Parkour they’re gonna be in Dragon Isles doing gliding mini games hopping from rock to rock on their non-flying dragons. Gonna be interesting to see the rage.
That statement a while back had me worried Id hate DF. Turns out Im loving it with all the little things to do.
Hoping they do a lot of small content dumps adding more quests and crap over the expansion lifespan…but this IS Ion we’re talking about. Certainly would make the content a lot more interesting to have new quests added once a month or so.

QUstion is will it only take a couple of months?
They aren’t testing everything any more in the Alpha-PTR phases any more so that they can give us some surprises. Also they have said something about smaller more frequent patches .
