I think we’ve all spent enough time in the new expansion flying around and mostly into random branches on this new tree. My experiences help me see that I misunderstood Sylvanas, I think we all did. You see she too got frustrated flying around and into the old tree, she really did us all a favor by burning it down. I now agree with her and see that she was misunderstood. The skies should be free and clear of this clutter. When do we get to burn this new one down?

I just wish the devs implemented even a semblance of logic. A freaking dragon who weighs probably at least 1k pounds (not doing peasant world calcs…we’re 'MERICANS here) flying at such extreme speeds is not coming to a dead halt smacking a paper thin branch. That branch will be bending or snapping.
burning overgrowth is important, and the tree is totally overgrown.
Burn it to the ground.
It’s bio-fuel.
I’m starting to think it’s like WoW’s version of “the one joke” at this point.

They’re trying to be edgy to be cool. Burning down the tree jokes and hello kitty comments are the new thing thats ‘‘in’’
Every time I read a post of someone trying to be super serious or ‘‘dark’’ about wow or how it needs to be more GORY with WAR it reads like a wattpad fanfic of a anime that a 13yo would write.

You know when the original image of Sylvanas being infront of a burning Teldrassil first came out I thought the Everbloom was going to be revealed to have made a successful invasion to Azeroth but it turns out that Sylvanas was just evil and dumb.
Yes she did, unfortunately she failed to throw Baine into the woodfired BBQ 
On top of that Saurfang failed to finish off Malfurion, I mean you had one job…
Darnassus was overrated, Sylvanas didn’t do anything wrong IMO, and my main is a night elf druid. She deserves a redemption arc; make her a main character again!
I came in here ready to fight, only to realise I was bamboozled and completely agree with the post. Now that I think about it, trying to fly around that god damn tree definitely makes me agree with the concept of arboricide.

I’d prefer a Theon Greyjoy style ptsd Anduin vs the one we got. THAT’s a brutal portrayal of his experience. Outside of what happened to Theon physically, Anduin was mentally “dominated”. His psyche was shattered. It’s just lame the writers decided to portray that in the most PG way ever and now a lot of folks find him to be an even bigger child.
I just reject the bad writing. Genociding the Night Elves isn’t some morally gray anti-hero action, it’s supremely evil and entirely out of character.
A bunch of rot-brains she refuses to control out of principle, though? Now that’s something we can work with. Then her motivation for seeking out the Shadowlands can actually be something interesting instead.
I love coming into sylvanas and burning tree threads and watching the night elf posters get really angry and upset.
With the current track record world trees are to world of warcraft in the same way Kenny is to south park.
That said, unlike previous ones it seems like this one realistically serves little purpose. It’s not on top of an ancient leyline, it’s not granting anyone immortality…if it burned down I doubt much would really change.
Sylvanas was just fine before they decided to make her warchief and then completely screwed up the story. I preferred her as the Banshee Queen chilling in UC and once in a while you got a quest cutscene with her, and sometimes she might have been up to a little bit of something nefarious but not to the point it destroyed decades of lore for some fanboy’s self-insert fanfic he built two entire expansions around.
