Jaina would win, hands. If you will recall Sylvanas was actually killed by Sir Godfrey in Silverpine Forest and it cost a couple of Valkyr to revive her.
On the other hand, Jaina is a god-like raid boss easily able to kill 25-player groups of the best WoW players in the world.
I kid of course, i am well aware that Sylvanas would be a fearsome raid boss. But Jaina is an extremely powerful mage where Sylvanas uses her guile to defeat her enemies. She does have some neat banshee tricks but i think that in a stand-up fight the best Sylvanas would be able to do would be to escape in one or two pieces.

In-game lore > book lore. Jaina never took a bullet or was seriously injured in the game until the Battle of Dazar’alor raid where she was almost godlike in her sheer power.
Whoever the writers want to win, will win. It’s all fixed, like pro wrestling only without the outfits.
Which is a shame…

In a 1v1 though Sylvie should crush Jaina if she’s played right.

if its a fight, sylvanas would just cheat and bring in a group of assassins.
than you got her poisoning the drinks as it is being discussed.
or if its painting?
she’d probably get someone else to do it at gun point and just use the painting an say she did it.
We had her dead to rights and she only lived due to plot armor so I’d have to call it 3:1, not 3:0 but that’s just me.

Ohhhh, Jaina hands down. She wouldn’t have to even be near Sylvanas. Just know where she is and mana-nuke the place from afar.
An arm wrestle
There is that - he had plot armor the likes of which we have never seen before in WoW. Tyrande as Night Warrior, having just nuked (she didn’t need us…at all) the Horde forces into oblivion, should have been able to take Nathanos apart without breaking a sweat…and let’s not forget that one of the most canonically powerful NPCs on Azeroth was standing next to her.
That should have gone like…
“Let me help” - Malfurion
“Stay out of it, my love - they’re mine” - Tyrande
“But Tyrande, I need…” Malfurion
“Don’t say it.” Tyrande “But fine, he’s mine and you can go play with the Valkyries”
Fight starts, Malfurion pulls the wings off the flies one at a time but before he’s done with that, Nathanos is a pile a smoking ash on the beach.
