They’ve already got a better version of goth mommy in xalatoes. sylvana is just the temu version at this point.
idk why they would want to try and bring her back considering how they ruined the entire game and story using her as a vehicle to do so

No, she wasn’t. She was a stuck-up elven aristocrat who failed at her one job and turned into a walking (well, floating actually) Hot Topic reject. She was only “relatable” because we were all teenagers.
Her very first act after breaking away from the Scourge was to drag her people into a war against the dreadlords over which one of them would be allowed to dominate the Forsaken. During that war she mind-controlled neutral humans and betrayed and murdered her allies, all in the name of increasing her own personal power. Her only redeeming quality was finding (arguably) worse villains to happen to.
Maybe they wouldn’t have been shunned if they hadn’t slaughtered their only allies? Just a thought.
Their only bringing her back to kill her off. You know that right?

Not according to the official CoS level designer.
Indeed it does.
However, I don’t think Blizzard intended for this to be a morally grey story moment in the franchise. Not only has the level designer come outright and tell us that Arthas was wasn’t in the right, but even Lorewalker Cho as of recently even implies the same thing as well.
Who is Dan Users anyway?
calia needs to die she is the pawn of the light and the light cannot be trusted.
I’d argue it’s more about them being realistic than relatable.
Also the issue with Sylvanas isn’t that people simp for her despite her atrocious acts. The issue is that her simps think she was a good leader for the Horde. Same goes for Garrosh.
Like a villain, fine. Just don’t delude yourself into thinking they cared about you.
warcrimes? please we need more of those first thing horde did was nearly wiped out the draenei and almost all life on their world, saurfang for one has killed far more than sylvanas. and yet people had no problem with him. i only dislike him for betraying sylvanas.
Who cares…
When was that?
if you play horde and are for horde and love horde you are for mass murderers and genociders. so your saying we should spend time at a therapist?
saurfang was in the horde since its founding perticiplated in every war of the horde willingly drank demon blood helped nearly wipe out the draenei in that war helped burn stormwind to the ground invaded lordaeron and helped kill more since. he has been in every war and been in nearly every batttle since the hordes founding. anyone who thinks sylvanas has done worse are just ignorant. also path of glory in outland is made of draenei bones saurfang helped make the material by killing draenei.
Oh I know, I’ve seen that. XP
The thing I love about this story is even though it was unintentional, it’s probably one of the best examples of a morally gray scenario anyone’s come up with in recent fiction. And due to the nature of the moral gray-ness, the divide is so firm. It’s great. lol
The creator and those aligned with him are so certain that anyone who sees it differently must’ve dropped off a huge ethical cliff.
Just like the people who take my stance can’t see why people on his side see it as so black and white terrible, when it seems like the most strategic, low-risk thing to do in that crazy situation.
And both groups are totally normal people. One side isn’t overly-emotional, or dumb, or literally psychopathic (as he seems to think XD). The polarization is so wild. It’s “The Dress” of abstract moral code.
I really hope Ethics professors talk about it in the classroom. The trolley problem ain’t got nothing on Arthas.
Sorry, shes been usurped by the naked feet queen.
Haha! Gottem! What’s next? Ethnic cleansing? Subjugation? Genocide? What is this, a game about war? lmaoooooo
Oh I’m sure those left at Blizzard will retcon that punishment. She’ll come back still undead, still evil, and all will be forgiven.
Have we ever seen her feet?
It’s the small radius on the maw ankle bracelets, she hasn’t been to Circle K in ages.
Some like him for other reasons.
Stratholme he has no choice. He made the call no one else would make. there is no cure.
and then after that is he is liked since old boy said well…why half butt this. I go full bore turbo butthat.
villains that want to be bad are liked. Its a day ending in Y…that means you all suffer. No 20D chess. Same reason garrosh is liked. No apologies.
they’ve tried deeper meaning. and failed. millions must die to save them. so only your army can win.
Yes.
the army we literally kill 1000 a night to find a pair of pants?
Yes…I didn’t say I had a great plan. Don’t blame me. I jsut read lines some writer gave me.
It’s a shame that they ruined our Goddess and I doubt a redemption arc will improve her story or ingratiate herself with the average fan again.
though!
