True. Idk. Maybe they’re just tough women. Amazons. Accustomed to the #Lifestyle
With bikini armor, shooter would’ve had a hard time aiming correctly thus saving the wearer from death.
And then what about Teldrassil (rip in pieces)?
All the environment of Ashenvale, but also suspended thousands of feet in the air.
I bet a night elf living there could literally slice an enemy in half with their nipple.
Sylvanas wasn’t trying to kill them, she was depriving them of their natural weapons.
What’s wrong with bikini armor? It’s just as protective as big bulky armor and it’s much lighter.
She’s always worn pants, though, at least in WoW… unless she wasn’t wearing pants under her robe in Vanilla and BC. The skimpiest armor she had was because she basically used the same model as Alexstrazsa and Ysera, which seems to have much of the attire baked into the model barring the shoulders and headwear.
Presumably she started armoring up more when she learned about the afterlife and the Maw, it just took a while for the in game model to catch up because… well, Blizzard. Thrall gets a new model every expansion, but god forbid any of the other faction leaders get a new look more than once every five years.
As has been noted in this thread though, it seems her Maw armor is ironically showing thigh, and maybe cheek.
Well yeah, she’s now working for the guy who can yoink her soul upon death. What are we going to do, kill her?
Her boss fight is probably going to be like a Whack-A-Mole where every time we kill her, she pops up again three seconds later.
We’ll flood the Maw with Sylvanas corpses like a parody of Triangle. That’s how you defeat the Jailer.
In fact the Lore before the age of retcon stated that NEs were extremely resitent to both heat and cold, their skin tough and they were really hard to damage.
It was however never clear wether it was due to their connection to Elune, due to the Well or due to the Dragons Blessings.
Still NEs just don’t get cold or easyly get deseases.
Fun fact:
Several tribes in for example Africa but also in antique aeras were fighting nearly naked.
There were reasons for it:
- heat and exhaustion, heavy protection gear would exhaust you pretty fast, which is why sports are done in very thin clothes. But on the battlefield during that times it meant you die.
- protective gear was expensive as hell. Most soldirs just couldn’t afford it so why bother at all.
- wounds could easyly become very nasty and infected due to fabrics that were soaked in dirt , bacterias and what else being transported into teh wounds by wearin it. It was just safer.
- Shoes! In the Antiques and dark ages it was pretty common to fight barefoot.
The reason is: Shoes had no rubber soles. They were made out of leather with no grip at all. If you ever tried to walk with flat leather shoes onto wet grass or dirt, you basically fall. If you fall to the groudn during a fight, you die.
There was just no reason to wear shoes as they wouldn’t protect your feet anyway.
Romans had a solution to that , they have hade iron spikes beneath their sandals. However that sounds unfomftable as heck.
Ya know, every time I approach a World Quest, and I see 10 duplicates of the same corpse strewn about while waiting for a new one to spawn… I think about that movie.
The concept seems flawed if you think about it long enough. Over a long enough timeline of repeats every duplicate item is going to flood the ship and severely affect the outcome. It’s going to severely impact the outcome and potentially start causing a chaotic mess of branching outcomes that make psychotic Jess look tame if things like an overflowing pile of corpses spill out onto the deck so they realize something is up before the events start playing out. Although it is amusing in itself to imagine Jess defeating the scenario by just breaking the entire thing with more attempts than it can handle rather than learning whatever lesson it’s trying to teach lol.
Ranger General Windrunner would easily lose to Captain Underpants, since “plot armor” is an ironic term due to having more of it the less clothes you wear
In that case I want Tyrande wear her sentinels armor again.
While she is at it, I want that one too finally…
I want player characters to be able to wear high heels
Urghs… nooo… if you ever walked in those! You can’t in the woods. Not working! You die …
Also a proper night elf is barefoot… or at least bearfoot.
Not true, Tyrande wears high heels
I know and I hate it…
It’s part of having plot armor, they help you run better
knee-highs are both sexy and functional
