The Sylvanas-Anduin cinematic drew clear parallels. It leads me to believe she is likely to come back. Yes it would likely be connected to Anduin’s plot.
I think she can be an interesting character, If Blizzard can get around having butchered her. There are so few big characters left on the Horde, Blizzard might feel they can’t do without her
They could if they wanted to but Sylvanas is the only hook left that can get people interested so of course she is returning. There was a lot of arthas callbacks with Sylvanas and it’s obvious now she’ll be back in Midnight at least. I could bet on it.
I think she is past the point of being ‘‘interesting’’ no matter how Blizzard write her in. For me at least. I’m of the belief her being put in at midnight expansion is to give her the ending to her ‘‘redemption arc’’ , she’ll probably have a windrunner sisters moment… who knows what else.

she never died in shadowlands so shes bound to return even though they should just let the alliance kill her off and kept her evil
The Alliance effectively nagged her beyond Undeath.
Uther and Tyrandee and the two lesser Windrunner sisters all nagged Sylvanas until she dove into the Maw.
Having done quests beside Tyrande, I too would jump in the Maw to get away from her pre-Dragonflight.
At least now that she has a new tree, she seems to have mellowed out!!
thats hard to say tyrande did split the elves with many of her decisions which i doubt elune approved of, now the blood elves worship glowing chandeliers and she had the chance to bring the Nightborne back into the fold remaking the Kaldorei Empire

Blood elves do not, in fact, worship the Naaru. The only race to hold reverence for the Naaru are the draenie, and they do not actually worship them.
You are confusing general Light worship, which had already been established as the religion of High Elves (and therefore Blood Elves), with the Naaru.

I kinda hoped her story would end with finishing her penance and then just skipping off into the afterlife she would have earned had Arthas not resurrected her or if the Jailer didn’t grab her soul after ICC. Edge of Night showed that she did not enjoy her current existence. I don’t think its gotten better for her since then.
The only positives I’d count for her coming back are spite related, which is never a good thing.
