and without sylvanas siding with the jailer we would be doomed no mater what. the jailer escaped his chains because of odyns eye aka the eye of the jailer broke his chains and if sylvanas never sided with the jailer and never met him we still would be screwed as we would still end up killing argus which lead to the arbitors defeat and the fall of the shadowlands would have been quicker and no one would have been there to warn or stop him which means by sylvanas doing all she did saved everyone and everything so people saying what she did was bad well she did end up saving us all.
on the contrary op, i think she is great, but i think the current writers are the ones that need to be banished to the maw…

There is apparently an armor set similar to hears that is coming, probally a trading post thing and for loyalists there’s a little side quest after getting heritage armor.

Like Night elves are supposed to forget alliance won the BFA war.
But darkshore area is still a conflict region. Saw it as I ran out my heritage armour quest.
So this is what winning is? was a thought that crossed my mind.
I get its needed for currency and mogs for BFA. They could have put in another time walker lady to show classic, then bfa darksore, and DF has a nice non-horde infested darkshore.
Basically if you want to farm bfa stuff…see the bfa time lady.

This game has ruined lots of character’s lore. Out of WC3, there was so much great character building squandered.
I think it’s because WoWs narrative is effectively treated like a typical throwaway TV show. They write it one season at a time, continuity be damned.
Vanilla EVERY CHARACTER is an entirely different character come 2023.
Thrall liberated himself and all orcs to found an entire new nation, but then HAS AN IDENTITY CRISIS LOSING HIS SHAMAN ABILITIES?!?!?!
Sylvanas being a victim of unfathomable metaphysical trauma, her soul ripped from her body and forced into spectral slavery…BUT THEN TEAMS UP WITH THE GUY OF ALL SOUL ENSLAVING GUYS???

That’s all this is. Its Blizzard+, Its a streaming service. And they gave up on even remotely caring about narrative continuity sometime before 2008.

But also, you’re right, they should update the zones after events like these. No wonder new players don’t engage with the world building.

It would have kept both Tyrande and Maiev’s characters intact.
And then having achieved justice like Maiev always eventually does, the Heritage Questline wouldve had so much more feels. Because evolving is important, not the weird personality pivoting that the writers seme to go with.

Bald psychotic robot with a penchant for cosplaying as the Grim Reaper? Not hard to figure out. We should of called X and Zero and called it a day. Bonus points, Zero would of probably gone insane since Sylvanas likes blondes and then taken her out perma-like. X would of handled the clean-up with Gelbin Mekkatorque.
The End. Saved us the Lore-ravaging effects of Shadowlands, which on most RP servers is outright ignored now. Kinda like the massive influx of Burning Legion Eredar into Stormwind’s Cathedral District, which near as I can tell are genetic clones of the Lord of Darkness from Legend, and or Hellboy experiments.
…Who knew defeating the Alliance was as easy as offering the forbidden /waggle?

Other than the Forum echo chambers and the CCS that farm them for clicks, what evidence do you have that people don’t like Sylvanas? I think she’s one of their greatest characters.
Also, she doesn’t have to return, she never left. If you will recall she conned Tyrande into throwing her back into the Briar Patch … oh excuse me … the Maw, where she can chill in her condo in Torghast.
