I mostly just want to get rid of her as Warchief. Her and boytoy Nathanos are annoying.
It’d be nice if they killed her off, but not being Warchief is good enough.

I’m torn between this (relief) and disappointment. I am tired of our faction leaders dying but that hag should pay for the Horde soldiers she killed at Lordaeron.

Staying true to current storyline and how much it makes sense, it will be Talanji. Why? Who knows. Why not.
Realistically, it will probably be Baine, as I don’t think Saurfang will want it.
If I had my pick? Lor’themar. I know people who loathe blood elves will lose their mind, but I actually think he would be a solid pick.
He kept his people together after Kael’thas left. He Kept his people together with Garrosh in charge. Now he’s keeping his people together with Sylvanus in charge.
Then Lady Liadrin could be the Warchief’s champion, similar to how Saurfang was for Thrall, and Nathanos is for Sylvanus. And who doesn’t love Lady Liadrin?

Jaina and Azshara didn’t die, I didn’t expect Sylvannas to either…sadly.
However, this doesn’t confirm she will stay warchief. She will probably be booted and go into hiding.

Surprise surprise. The huge fan favorite that has people fighting isn’t going to die. Even in RP she has loyalists. The fans will literally say things like “Lolz just a tree” "It’s war lol despite if we had destroyed their city the Horde would be crying about it (Sylvanas blighted Undercity, that’s not our own doing).
And the Night Elves never get revenge. Oh sure she might be dethroned and another warchief is made.
And you know how Yrel was made the “bad” guy in Mag’har storyline and Grommash is viewed as a hero? (Despite being the Horde perspective). They will probably do it again, Sylvanas as a “hero” and Tyrande becomes the bad guy somehow.
