More effort, more reward.
Someone works really hard for something, how would it fair to then give it to someone else for logging in.

If there are already different versions, why not lfr also? There’s no real reason for it other than Ion said so.

There haven’t been legendaries since the WoD ring .
These are just the new purples , purples are the new blues, blues are the new greens and greens are either vendor trash or AH transmog gold sells.
Really I see a lot of communication and people giving advice to people on what they need to do in LfR . I’m really thinking this people don’t communicate in lfr is a lie the anti lfr crowd makes up to justify their argument for having lfr removed .

Excuses. Make your own, or find a decent guild. Trust me, there are casual guilds out there that care less about skill and more about the fact that you have a pulse and are breathing.

My experience has generally been the opposite, and in situations where someone is actually trying to explain, it tends to go all to hell because someone impatient shouting “GO GO GO!” wants to just rush in.

I haven’t read any of this thread but just came in to say:
Yeah, nah, it’s a “legendary” item and in my opinion should be locked to heroic/mythic or just mythic raid.
How can it be considered a legendary if a person could just walk into LFR, roll their face on their keyboard and get the bow?

The bow should only drop in mythic.
That way I’ll have no incentive to roll a hunter (yuck) and try and get it.
Stop being so entitled and out the effort in to earn it. My god people are lazy.

Being Legendar, if anything like the Sunwell bow, 10-15 people world wide will see it this expansion anyway.
I play the tourist mode and not annoyed by this. Ill see it in 8-12 years of farming legacy raids

I wish the devs would say the bow would be a one of a kind unique item, given only to one hunter on the world first team, then everyone would be rioting. But people only care when something affects them personally. Those who are in guilds that raid are fine so no complaints from them, but people who aren’t in raiding guilds and rely on lfr shouldn’t just be arbitrarily excluded from the enjoyment of getting a special thematic bow.
Are mythic raiders going to be upset that a downgraded version is given to heroic raiders, and are heroic raiders upset that a downgraded version is given to normal raiders? Of course not, no one gives a sht, so why do people care if there’s an lfr version? Nobody cares what version of bow a lower level raider has, so why not just spread the enjoyment to everyone instead of making one specific group of players feel completely left out? The point is, just make the game fun for as many people as possible.

I would actually prefer that but the problem is if one guy has it then 99.9 % wouldn’t even know it exists. In GW2 there was pvp finisher given to the top 3 pvp teams from the first tournament 10 + years ago ultra exclusive , I still have not seen them or it. 
The bow in LFR is a fantastic idea. Now i dont need to get a guild and do the real raid ever for it.
This is why you keep items like this behind raids. Items like that are why people use to want to raid.
No, I think it’s perfectly fair honestly.
Look, legendary equipment shouldn’t drop from LFR in my opinion. It just shouldn’t. And to be completely honest? Normal raiding isn’t really that difficult to accomplish. In fact it’s one of the first difficulty modes that gets pugged every patch, so even if you aren’t in a guild that raids, you can easily get into groups (or form your own) that will clear the place and give you a shot at the legendary bow.
