Sylv still isn’t evil

I’ve always known she was evil, it’s been there pretty blatantly since…Wrath?

But yeah, what she did at the gates made no sense. I mean I’ve joked about it but it would’ve been so easy to just continue that sentence, lmao.

“THE HORDE IS NOTHING…WITHOUT LOYALTY.”

Like literally anything but immediately showing her entire hand and running off.

You just don’t understand the brilliance of her Nintendo 64D chess, maaaan!

It’s been blatant since Vanilla. Just watch the opening cutscene for the Forsaken, which establishes that they’re using the “primitive” races of the Horde to further their dark ambition, and will kill anyone to accomplish their goal.

I mean, the wrathgate, abandoning the alliance on the broken shore, not helping repel the burning legion during Legion, buring the tree, killing her own civilians of the forsaken to further her own political agenda and blighting her own troops. I mean, that’s all pretty evil.

But I’d argue her most heinous crime was raising her Fedora Tipping phsyical manifestation of every thirsty my lady waifu lovin tissue fillin boys in her fanclub as a boyfriend/ body guard in the game. Every time I look at him, especially after this last quest. All I see is fedoras and funyuns, I didn’t think the internet could contain so much cringe in a single character.

Sylvanas is evil dude. Has been since at least Cata ( i started in the later half of wrath so i don’t know her personality before then)
She blighted gilneans, even when her warchief told her not too.
Started raising her own forsaken
Impriosned a DK for calling a truce with alliance forces so they can handle the bigger scourge problem
Made deal with Helya(known bad guy) so she can enslave Eyir so she has infinite valkyrs
Started pointless war while azeroth was bleeding out
Burned innocent civilians just because she got taunted.
Made deal with Azshara (known bad guy) that lead to horde troops pointlessly dying and freeing an old god

Everything she does is for herself and herself only after she found out she was going to wow’s version of hell when she dies. She’s not in it to save azeroth as a lot of you sympathizers keep believing. She’s really just Garrosh 2.0 + Arthas (Lich King) 2.0

Just embrace the fact that she’s evil and has been nothing other than evil since Vanilla. The woman literally force-fed plague into her live captives for testing purposes.

I, too, share your dislike for Nathanos.

And it’s even worse for me. I have to consistently hear him barking orders at me.

Burned an entire city and started a war. you can argue that “well alliance started killing goblins by the sword”, and to be honest i’m pretty sure that’s blizzard not thinking ahead and just added a simple kill quest.

Sylvanas and the forsaken have always been the Horde’s best asset when it comes to underhanded, morally black actions that must be done.

Anyone who thinks they were never evil before BFA is a fool. The only real difference is that, now she has the spotlight, and got bit by the plague of plot induced stupidity.

“Sylv still isnt evil”

Remind me of a time when she wasnt? From the moment of her rebirth, she has been tortured and twisted and after only revenge, using any means necessary to achieves such. She has never once cared about the horde that she has been a part of and has ALWAYS viewed them as nothing but tools to achieve her goals.

“Horde is nothing. You are all nothing!”

She thinks you are nothing, bro.

He might enjoy that humiliation. We shouldn’t judge him.

That what i was trying to say. You just did better.

Don’t forget, she did burn down a tree that was full of termites.
Can’t let termites spread, they’ll destroy all of the wood everywhere!

People need to stop whining about Teldrassil it’s the Nelves fault that they decided to plant that freaking tree so close to Orgrimmar. They should have known. They played with fire and they got burned(Get it? teehee.)

On a more serious note, i have always loved Sylvanas as a character and viewed her as this complex character who is yes, very hateful and malicious but cares deeply about her people and views them like a mother views her own child. But noooooo we can’t have that can we? She has to be a nonsensical cartoon villain that way we can replace her with someone who is love-dovy and cherry sprinkled good.

Who here can’t wait for the next forsaken leader who is going to solve all the worlds problems through the power of love and friendship! Yayyyy!

You have no achievements older than this year. This explains a lot.

Yes, he died. To save many and become a hero. Agree on that. In the end, it cemented his son as a ruler. Thus retaining the power in the family.

Still getting off-topic. You seeing someone who you admire be questioned on motives as wrongly accused of something. I am saying all who have power or gain power always have selfish intentions at its core. The big difference is to keep it they have to keep the trust of the people. You can not do that unless you show them that you looking out for them. Otherwise, they turn on them. Thus you have to occasionally do something outside your core beliefs to help further your self needs.

It not that I can not see them for that did. It is that I can see the motives behind what they did. That what I have been trying to explain.

Again try not to rationalize a war with the size of the forces. On what they might have and might not have is incidental none factor. When there is a deeper meaning that will be lost on most people. It not about the army size, winning or anything. It how the alliance people feel about the Horde. How the horde races feel about themselves. This whole war as about regains the horde ability to believe in itself.

That now is gone. Thanks to the large part of how the war ended. I see everyone thinks the whole speech was directed at all the horde. The writers are trying very hard to cement this. The problem is the repercussions of this have yet to feel.

How does horde go on knowing that they can never do anything by themselves? That they always have the alliance to help. Thus, the moral of the horde should be breaking. The army for all intense and purpose should be leaving.

Sorry, English is not the mother tongue. I hope now I conveyed my message.

Literal definition of evil:

adjective

adjective: evil

  1. profoundly immoral and wicked.

noun

noun: evil

  1. profound immorality and wickedness, especially when regarded as a supernatural force.

She fits both definitions. Now, if you get squishy and giddy over serving an evil biznatch…power to you, but there’s no use denying what she is. Nothing wrong with liking evil characters or RP’ing your character as evil, happy to be her servant whether she gives a darn about you or not… but don’t prattle under a delusion that she’s going to turn out to be some noble savior committing atrocities for some grander ‘good’ purpose.

Back on topic. My opinion. The game has a direction it wants to go. It going to change or rewrite anything to fit that end goal. The problem with it is the inconsistency of the storyline that in the end going to cost them more.

Like most said she behind wairthgate. Now for ones who done it and was there. They know that she almost died trying to save the city. A contradiction of the writing right there. There were many more examples for ones who did it. It also cost her a great deal.

The whole expansions is full of contradictions, inconsistencies and just making things up as it goes a long. BFA as a whole looks more like a badly thought out puzzle than expansions. As it changes it storyline to fit the next patch and ignore previous storyline.

Let not forget. They made customer do previous expansions if they wanted a race that was first advertise for BFA. BFA from early start to end has just been mismanaged . That i personally thank going to haunt them.
