I leveled using it so don’t think I’m hating on the spec, but it just still isn’t there. For an experiment I used it in an 11 delv; Brann kept pulling aggro.
I think if/when it becomes the meta people are going to like not having to throw errant whirlwinds into their cooldown rotation just to cleave. And popping a big thunderblast into a large pull makes a lot of numbers go brrr, but it is going to take a lot more to compete with the bonus damage debuff from slayer.
I haven’t cared about PvP in years, but being more tanky and not needing to rely on the slayer debuff probably does help it perform in PvP somewhat better than PvE.
