I don’t think it’s even an activated summon anymore, it’s a proc when using your main abilities. So it just shows up randomly and you use Throw Glaive to make it explode for a big AoE. Which is good, because I’ve actually got a Necro DH in my guild, and boy is the current ability silly.
Truth be told I’m sure after I try out the new form ill most likely enjoy it.
As it stands now I dont mind it so much but I would like to use it more than just as a quick prep before a big fight.
I love having a necrolord dh so here’s hoping the rework is fun
WELP. Screw waiting for the PTR, I’m going Necro TODAY. I need those soulbinds PRONTO.
As mentioned it is until possibly late March or if lucky mid March when we’ll see the changes. (If they remain) just understand that these changes may not be final and anything is possible. So understand that if you roll now. You’ll be necrolord for about a month+.
Getting soulbinds can be done within a week or two for the dedicated. So if you wait for the release of the change. It wouldn’t take long for you to get to where you need to be. But if you switch now. You’ll get used to necrolord and have to readjust to its new version when the time comes.
I’ve been necro for a month or so and know its going to change so I’m slowly prepping myself by playing ptr and learning both in the event something happens and the change isn’t final.
That’s part of why I just choose the covenant with the ability I like, good or bad I stick with it.
They could nerf abomination limb into the ground and ill still use it.
you might as well be a warrior brother
For me I’ve always been the type to prioritize enjoyment over much. At the same time however I also like utility.
All the damage in the world won’t mean anything if the utility is nonexistent.
Which is why I’m glad that blizz is finally looking at some of the covenant abilities.
Add to this. …nonexistent especially if there is no fun involved in playing the spec/covenant.
If I wasn’t having fun, I don’t care how much damage it deals or the high utility it has. It has to have some sort of fun factor associated with it. Otherwise I pass
I personally love my living kickball eddie
