There are a million ways to make gold in WoW. Pick one and start doing it.
Or, you know, stand there and cry about the gear other people have.
The one in Classic is a really big quest chain with lots of matts and a few dungeon bosses that you have to kill. Thats why it got removed and turned into a feat of strength in Wrath prepatch.

It’s not difficult to make gold in a fresh market I found out. I got 40 and needed like 55g. That first 45g felt like it took forever to get there.
I found a spot lower than my level to farm mobs faster and made that 55g in about four or five hours (to my surprise); yeah, drops are going to be RNG and gold generated doing this will vary based on it, but it isn’t hard to decide on a location: finds humanoids that drop cloth.
Even if there is RMT, its up to people to decide if they want to take the risk to get their accounts actioned against. Some find it immoral, others don’t. I personally find it immoral (or rather degrades the integrity of efforts to do HC), but that is just how I feel.
Don’t complain too much though, they might put the WoW token in. Then we will see you here complaining even more.

Pretty sure they’re saying that HC feels like a new server longer than a regular fresh because ppl keep permadying.

If blizzard restricted everyone to 1 toon per server it would eliminate the bank alts and multiple toons to cover every profession Andy that thinks covering their butt by having back ups of back ups and sending their gold to an alt so when they die they can just restart and buy all the monkey sets they want bs. 1 toon limit is true HC. You die, you lose everything. You rely on other people for their professions. I would argue that would enhance the HC community instead of all these people hedging their bets by sending all their stuff into the future for their next toon. All you with a bank alt are playing HC lite.
HC is not Fresh, and never was. It was released in the last phase with all events completed AQ open and so on.

Yes, its still cheaper than buying an epic mount from the vendor by 3-400 gold, you can share the vendor mats with other warlocks and make money afterwards helping others with the quest, and it requires 1 dire maul run.

I wish the bot army would farm some plate of the eagle gear since one dude is buying it all and re-posting it for 10-15g a piece. I feel like he can’t be selling that much of it since they keep re-posting it over and over again.
Its not that hard. I did it in vanilla way back when. On the path to do it again. Selective spell training, lots of vendor runs (basically as soon as my bags are full, i go to town, vendor trash, and mail AH goods to my fence).
Getting gold is pretty easy, especially after you get over level 30.
