Zaalg, the problem with a perma ban would be many people would not come baack. Blizz is making a business decision to not perma ban. For example, dealing drugs has a much harsher punishment than buying for personal use.

This is an absolute joke. This is blizzards way of pretending to do something. You bought gold, you should be permanently banned. Zero tolerance for cheating would be doing something about it.

Then don’t buy gold, and they don’t have to worry about being perma-banned.
That’s how a deterrent works.

Good? They do a small wave of public perma-bans and then reset and wait to see who the morons are. Then another small wave of public perma-bans and then reset. I bet the numbers go south really fast with minimal overall loss.

I know quite a few people who’ve been banned for buying gold. They don’t always take the gold depending on the situation, but I believe they can also overtake especially if you spent the gold.

I love gold buyers… they pay the dollars and risk a ban. All I do is tank a dungeon or raid and sweep it all up risk free. :laughing:

Fair enough it’s well I kind of feel bad for you because I get what you’re saying on the same end is good to see that they’re finally doing something but obviously it’s not enough what they need to do is a gold reset for wrath.

And get rid of GDKP Because let’s be real here that’s the main reason why people do buy gold when items are going for million 2 million a normal person cannot farm that much gold normally.

I mean heck even in retail farming 2 million gold would be a little bit tough but in Ralph or tbc yeah that’s ridiculous.
