The problem that you’re conveniently ignoring is that the bug literally happened to anybody who happened to play enough games to get over 4k today, whether the players intended to or not. It was a passive effect from PLAYING THE GAME. As Blizard you don’t punish players for playing the game and having random bugs happen to them, you roll back the items they received, then you get better at your job and put more effort into what you push out so this doesn’t happen again. It’s not that hard to understand.

Color me shocked the 70b $ company let another massive bug slip through the cracks on content release day. I am not optimistic they will do anything but the entire season is pretty screwed if they do not remove the gear and prevent those who are deleting it from restoring it. Those who were at work all day can’t even buy gear because the vendors are gone. Meanwhile you have these bum exploiters on the forums boasting about the massive advantage they will have over everyone.
Knowingly abusing a bug is 100% exploiting btw sorry to break it to you. No chance in hell any of you are new. You knew damn well what you were doing. If I was grinding conquest during the exploit I would have stopped because I would expect all my work to be reverted because that is what should happen.
The 2nd official release and the amount of F ups for a company of this scale is unacceptable.

Yet there are exponentially more PvPers doing them. The Arena player base tries to pull players from the much much larger BG, WPvP player base. Arena isn’t really MMO PvP so they don’t pull to many players over.
Unrated BGs are infinitely more fun than Rated. Sorry but Rated are pretty toxic and most PvPers don’t enjoy them. Granted at least they are objective based PvP which fits an MMO.
Arena players are a fraction of the PvP playerbase always have been and always will be and Arena did more harm than good for PvP in WoW. At the end of the day we want MMO PvP not Arena. It’s why no one cares or watches the AWC. Hope they just let Esports die in this game so it can be better.
Hey everyone, I am new a player here just started the other week. I logged on this morning and purchased an entire set of the epic gear and the weapons. Sorry, I did not know that was unintended. I am doing good in the arenas with this gear and I am looking forward to raid on thursday with it

You have that backwards so you are wrong. BGs and WPvP are End game. Most PvPers could care less about the mini-game of Arena. People only do Arena so they can gear up for BGs and WPvP.
Arena has a very small player base. It’s about 10% of the PvP player base and that will never change. This is an MMO and people are looking for MMO PvP. Arena was a mistake in this game and why the AWC failed. Players don’t care and it’s not a watchable product. It appeals to almost no one.
Theres no World PvP going on until MOP
