I didn't start farming till WOD when I was max level there and only after doing the lockout trick many times did I finally get it on of all alts my baby worgen the first hunter ever to hit max level back in MOP.

uhh well........it took me about 400 runs to get my first one and yet i have been in there 3 times since then on alts for Tmog or pets and it has dropped two more times back to back. i dont go in there anymore cause i dont want to see another one drop cause i cant bring myself to delete them.

It took 283 runs over 10 characters before invincible dropped for me. But the only mount I want, Infinite Timereaver, will never drop for me. And, I hate TW dungeons too.

I would gladly trade any 10 of my 233 mounts for Infinite Timereaver.

UPDATE I FINALLY GOT IT FIRST RUN OF THE DAY LETS GO

Got it earlier in Legion; was running weekly 17-31 alts at least. It's farmable. Way more probable than the big love rocket that eludes me.

I've seen it drop twice, and I've lost count of the times I ran that raid, quite a few when it was current, and of course thousands more afterwards. The first time was during Wrath, I lost the roll. The second time was with a friend and I let him have it.

I have just one question, and I've never gotten an answer: Do you have to beat all the bosses, or can you bypass one *eyes Valithra evilly* and still get the mount to drop?

You can skip Val; I only ever bothered if I was on a healer. Makes it faster to just speed run that way ;) Otherwise I walked around her

I don't believe you. It is a 1% drop chance. There is no way you have run this 3900 times. There is a stats page on your character, I'd love to see a screenshot.

My most run 1% mount was 384 attempts. So a very large number like 390 or even 500 I would believe, but anything approaching 1000 sounds too exaggerated.

If it were a 1/2000 mount, I'd believe you. Sha of Anger dropped the mount for me at around ~1600. Galleon ~700. Ramakan 1st try (go figure).

For me, Nalak has not yet at ~2500 and Oondasta not yet at ~1900.

For all my disbelief, I do hope that the mount does drop for you! Best of luck.


He could have farmed it weekly on several alts.. it took me about 4 years to get it.

I got it around my 100th kill and my friend at the time got it on 3rd

I wish they’d put bad luck protection on mount drops over all lol. That way if you farm multiple you’d get one for sure sooner rather then later

It took around 85 attempts before I bagged Invincible, running on about five characters a week.

Really bad luck protection would be great to have for such mount drop rates.

I used to run it on 3 characters, but when they added scaling, it became impossible to AOE all the trash down. Fury of Air on my shaman didn’t work any more for example. It became too much work to try for a mount I probably wouldn’t use anyway.

I heard about somebody once who did thousands of runs only to discover while scrolling through their achievement tab that they already had it!

I did the same approach you did. Just kept adding alts and running them through til it eventually dropped. I don’t recall Invincible being a particularly bad farm . . . . . . . but it’s been a while.

I agree for limited time mount headless horseman mount should have bad luck protection of some form but you can run icc weekly all year so not so much for that.

This is probably the worst I’ve heard. That’s demoralizing.
