So no one will run ascension because its garbage, and no one will stack haste because that stat is garbage for WW. Do you see rogues running marked for death in arenas, or the passive energy regen? Guess what, rogues love haste and in PVE that passive one is their best, but rogues still run MFD. HRMMM. WW hates haste, and ascension is their worst in slot talent.
Currently AFAIK, the damage is broken and doesn't work on the PTR as in it does zero damage. So we don't know what their plans even are, but right now we've wandered into, "your complaint is irrelevant," space.
Second, the damage, if it worked, is redirected to ANYTHING at random. SO that damage can hit a pet, a totem, the wrong target, an earthen wall totem, anything. You don't get to direct it.
Finally the damage is only directed to a target within 5 yards, so versus a lot of casters or ranged, it won't hit anyone at all even IF it worked.
Like, maybe you should read it or test it before you complain?
Also, as someone above said, how on earth are you casting a thousand energy worth of this in a few seconds? jesus christ that's an exaggeration, but 6 is just as bad. 240 energy? Look, you do realize there is a GCD right? And WW monks have a pool of 100 energy lol.
SO that would be 48% of someones HP in what, 9 seconds if it were even possible? WHOOOOOO sound the alarm! 9 seconds to heal someone by half HP for all your resources, which by the way ISNT EVEN POSSIBLE!
But lets say it was possible. And you cast it 6 times. Well you're going to need to spend at least 2 chi between so you don't waste resources, which means you are going to channel FoF which takes a few seconds, or you can cast rising sun kick if its off cd, or two more GCDs for blackout kicks. So you're talking ten seconds+.
But none of that is relevant at all, because you dont get to spend 240 energy in a period of 6 seceonds.
Holy crap, WW is completely unplayable for this entire expansion so far in all aspects of the game, and you're whining about a currently broken pvp talent in testing on the PTR that as of right now does zero damage. Get your head out of your !@#. Find something remotely plausible to whine about.
The healing mechanic to do damage is sooooo bad. It's just as bad as doing damage to heal. Stop the madness.

Seen it when they first added it and thought yeah surely it will get nerfs earlier on being so broken. It would be pretty funny if it goes live like that.

Can confirm ww has this spell on ptr.
My mate tested it on ptr and with 1 fill bar of energy he did 6 in a row, including energy regen. That's 48% of your hp healed from instant casts and 48% of some poor suckers health standing near you.

Almost no one takes Ascension in arena, and especially if RJW becomes garbage in 8.1, that'll be even more of a reason why people wont take Ascension.
And without Ascension, we have 100 energy, which means we get to do 2 of these back to back before running out of energy, and if we're sitting there doing damage in a Legsweep, I dont think the damage of this ability will be near enough to warrant actually using it as part of our burst rotation over abilities like RSK/Fist/WDP.
I also don't see why you'd complain about the healing either, 16% of our HP at the cost of 2 globals and all of our energy isn't anything to brag about or worry about either, thats like 25k HP, which is nothing. And besides, Tiger Palm will still be a better ability to use for generating Chi as it generates two at the cost of 10 more energy.
So the only REAL use that this ability will have is the small heal that its going to bring, or maybe if we're fighting a mage and we're constantly CC'd, atleast we can exit CC and use this ability to generate a Chi while unable to connect to our target.
ONTOP of all of this it's also requiring us to give up an honor talent slot to take it, and WW like many other classes already have too many vital honor talents (Wall/HHS/Disarm/Disable Reach/Ride The Wind), so I really don't understand how you could complain about this talent.
I see us taking this talent for a good percentage of our matchups, but not because it's OP, but moreso because WW cant survive for !@#$ right now and this will help out with it over a casted heal that does nothing.
Ferals already heal for more than 25% with 1 global, Ret's give their entire team a 30% heal with WOG's / etc.
Seriously man if your going to try to complain about a new upcoming honor talent without actually knowing anything about the spec it's going to or how it functions, don't start crying out for nerfs, especially when it hasn't even hit live yet so nobody has gotten a chance to see how good it'll be or not be.
