Supply and Demand in Crafting Orders

The core problem is that progressing your profession is tied to a system that is totally incapable of generating the demand needed for the legion of casual and part time crafters.

As currently implemented it is a viscious feedback loop where the first movers gain ever increasing lock in over the market and smaller servers/factions are just left out of the loop.

The only real way to fix this is to decouple getting from ~60 skill to 100 skill in the profession from the crafting orders. The simplest way is to add some long cooldown crafts that people can make and sell on the AH to alts. e.g. on 48 hour cooldown you could craft a "Package of 320 gear that people can buy at say level 68 to get a quick start on the gear grind at 70.
