This made me laugh, because it’s true. But you have to blame the system trying to break up the nuclear family.
Who says I’ve lead a raid team?
And it really is dude. I know you don’t play at that level, but when you’re putting in that time and effort, its extremely difficult for a guild to survive with a turd in the punch bowl.
TRANSLATION
I was also one of the best D3 players in the world about 7 years ago. I even had the Diablo CM call me a god.
LOL.
He was never the target audience, this game was designed to be a more casual Everquest, Blizzard literally says that in the development documentary during 2003
SELF - AWARENESS DELI.
You’re trying to go on a crusade about how bad it is to care about achievements in a video game. Ima help you out.
If you directly contradict everything you apparently stand for, people are likely to disregard everything you say.
I was pretty good at D3 as well. Wanna see some of my leaderboard finishes? I can show em to you. Can you show me yours, Deli?
After you show me that DK that definitely exists, of course.
I cannot begin to convey to you how much of a hypocrite you are. I’ve never seen anybody on this forum (and that’s saying something) directly contradict themselves at every possible turn.
Plays the “everybody else is a tryhard angle”, follows it up by saying “a Diablo CM once called me a god.”
This is tooooo good.
You’ve spent a lot of posts calling me bad in a variety of ways. I’m simply telling you that I am good at video games and laughing about this stuff because… it doesn’t matter if you’re good at video games.
Who cares. No one cares, we want easy content so we can chill with the boys and get the best loot. That’s what we want, we don’t want a “challenge” even if we’re capable of performing at the level required to beat the challenge. Not every game needs to be Dark Souls to be fun.
Go play retail buddy.
Would it make you a happy camper? I’ll post one screenshot ok, give me a minute to look for it.
Here’s what it looks like when you get a rank 1 conquest during D3’s prime and you have thousands of people message you at the same time:

Conquests. You mean doing something easier faster than anybody else? Most people don’t know they exist, because nobody cares.
I want to see your GRIFT leaderboard spot. Ye know, the part of the game that takes skill?
After that DK of course.
Oh and if didn’t matter, you wouldn’t flex em. The concept of contradiction eludes you, Deli.
Starting to think “we” is you and you’re multiple personalities. Because I’m seeing a WHOLE lot of people disagreeing with you.
Than again, one of those personalities would assuredly be intelligent enough to prevent you from endlessly shoving your foot in your mouth.
You never played the game competitively lol. I also have a bunch of top 10 leaderboard clears but who cares. It’s impossible for a bad gamer to get a R1 Conquest and I have a bunch. Impossible, and you know that if you’ve ever played the game.
ur bad and mad that’s all
Well the game was never particularly competitive. And I finished top 100 on class leaderboards multiple times. Also did a GR 150 before the insane power - creep made that so much more accessible. zDH so pretty easy, but more than you’ve ever accomplished.
Just like in WoW. You know how you can see based on my characters history that I’ve achieved far more than you (despite that CLEARLY not mattering to you), I can do the same with D3?
Interested?
F’ing Conquests dude. Conquests. I genuinely think the wide majority of people who’ve played D3 would tell you “i dont remember what those were”.
Conquests. Hahahaha. Almost worse than your pretend DK.
lololol
I have a realm first title from original WoTLK lol, you don’t even have 1500 in arena looooool.
Yeah that’s why thousands of people messaged me every time I got one, lolol. Anyways you can see my clan in that SS, that was Quin’s clan, so yeah ok lol. Who cares dude really. I’m not a bad gamer, that’s just a fact. I still want the content to be easy.
I go back and play old SNES rpgs too. They’re also easy, you should try enjoying things in life dude.
You SAY you have a realm first title from WotLK. But I’m not seeing it. You keep SAYING stuff. But for some reason, you don’t have proof.
Arena’s your new metric? WoW PvP? Really?
Hard to push arena rating when you don’t enter the arena because if I want to PvP, I’ll play a PvP game.
Voices in your head don’t count Deli. No matter how real they seem.
Btw I’m Limit Max. Don’t need proof, all ye gotta do is just say you’ve done something.
I love old games. Not much of an old RPG type, but platformers are my jam. Love time trials in Crash Bandicoot. I love the CHALLENGE.
Wow its almost like, people have different preferences in games, and its okay to give people who prefer easy content (normal) easy content, and its okay to give people who want a challenge (heroic), a challenge?
What. A. Concept.
Oh wait you just make stuff up and want free loot I forgot.
ok here you go, move the goalpost to the next thing kkthx
retail, give them retail
There ya go! Heroic Cata raids will still be challenging for many players, and they will still be challenging for you, definitely.
I must ask.
If difficulty is ALL that matters, why do you play classic, when you can just do LFR? Is it because there’s an entire game attached to it and things are not conveniently black and white?
Also if you were on a cereal box, what font do you think it would have? Getting a comic sans vibe from you Deli.
See? How hard was that. Now I only think you made the DK up.
Realm first Malygos in WotLK. Not amazing, I know some so - so players who have similar achievs on smaller realms, BUT it is something.
Because raiding and collecting loot is fun. Parsing is fun. Speed running is fun. We did all these things to make the game interesting in Classic Vanilla and it was a blast. I like raiding with the people I raid with and they’re not all top tier players. I don’t have any interest in wiping hundreds of times in a short raid tier for some false sense of accomplishment.
Raiding with alts is fun too. Gearing up multiple characters and maybe doing some pugs. The game becomes so much more exclusive if you lock the loot behind bosses most players can’t kill. People become more bitter, more frustrated with wipes. The environment becomes less enjoyable to be in. People obviously want the best loot and when you’ve been giving it to them for 5 years and then take it away, what do you think the response is going to be?
The raids are still going to be more difficult than every ICC boss besides Heroic LK, btw. I’ve also seen players in some top guilds with the same opinion as me, that the raid is going to be difficult enough.
Do you two maybe want to go rent a room somewhere and finish your business there?
I guarantee this will age like milk left in the sun.
The only way I’m wrong is if Blizzard makes the stupid decision to overtune BWL.
That’s fine that you find that fun. But you keep applying these blanket statements as to what others enjoy as a way to project your own preference onto others.
That sounds awful to me. Awful. That’s not raiding to me. If there’s zero resistance in acquiring the loot, its not rewarding. If there’s zero reason to possess the loot, its unrewarding. If my actions are nearly irrelevant towards the outcome, its unrewarding. This is not a unique sentiment. Its called human psychology.
I’m happy to shoot the sh*t with friends over disc. Drink a few brews, play some Scribble and have some bants. But if I’m going to RAID, I want to RAID.
Anybody who wants the best loot in the game while not wanting to work towards it or wanting it for any tangible purpose, is just entitled. No way around it. Put a bit more effort. Play SoD. Its fully in the players control.
I peaked at Diamond 5 in League of Legends. I wanted to be the best though, so they should have made me Grandmaster because I wanted it.
