I dont think its “balanced” as it is very horde heavy…However, from what I understand, sulfuras is only accepting free transfers from Benediction and Grobb alliance…two mega servers with 4-5 hour ques yesterday…So the alliance is growing and I think the numbers will continue to grow as I dont see the ques getting any better during the Scourge event and then through launch. So people will have to deal with these ques for at least another couple of months…My hope during that time enough alliance transfer over to close the balance gap.

like what…create 20 layers? horde and alliance can just choose which layer to dominate? Its not how the game was meant to be and its not going to happen.
I’d prefer 20 layers over having to choose between not playing at all or logging in with remote desktop from work and babysitting my PC all day so I don’t get logged out and stuck in a 6+ hour queue.
Then you will wait, that is your choice…Because creating 20 different layers is not going to happen. That would be a real mess in itself…

Explain how it would be more of a mess than a 15k+ player queue to play a game we pay $15 a MONTH for?
Because it provides a community to play with and experience content since we have no RDF.

These ques will last a couple of month into launch…Wintergrasp would be a mess among other things…Horde and alliance just constantly yelling invites to certain layers to avoid dominated faction layers is not how the game was meant to be…20 layers will not happen.
You have no idea what you’re talking about. There’s no indication that queues are going to slow down, they’re only increasing and it’s only prepatch, the game hasn’t even launched yet. Wintergrasp is going to be instanced so I don’t see how layers have anything to do with it. Sounds like you fell for the free transfer bait and want people to join you before you regret your decision.

It’s true. I’ve been on Sulfuras since Classic launch and it started really dying off in the last few months or so when guilds were mass-transferring to Faerlina. I was really hoping this would happen and very glad I stayed put.

According to the Census app, we’re actually about 60/40 (Horde/Alliance, respectively) now. Wow…
Sulfuras is now listed as a Full server lol…enjoy your queues soon.
Tossed my 65 alliance druid there just to check it out and the difference between friday and sunday night was a sight to see.
Its definitely growing, and worth checking out if youre serious about making the jump.

Blizzard deleted dead servers, forced people to move to mega servers like bene, faerlina or grob.
Pre-patch hit, layers went down to 4, lots of people want to play and cant log due to 5-6 hours queue to play.
Blizzard offered free transfer to Old Blanchy and Sulfuras.
Sulfuras is growing and is now a decent server.
People still complain.

I was among the guilds that xferred off. Horde significantly outnumbered alliance so guilds xferred off because they were bleeding players quitting because they couldn’t farm, and you couldn’t recruit. Once one big guild xferred every guild did
