What’s funny is that people, just weeks ago, said this realm was dead, and I’m talking about horde side fyi.
Yea i heard the horde had ppl leave too.
I throw an Alt over there and test it out
I have alts there…that i didnt put there. Still waiting for blizz to respond to them auto moving them.
My daughters horde characters all got moved to Sulfuras a few weeks ago from Deviate Delight. She had been playing horde on there the last few days because the alliance queues on Grobbulus have been so long we really can’t play alliancetogether anymore.
Sufurus looks like its been pretty active from what i have seen. The Server is now listed as full but there has never been a queue to log in.
ok so Sulf will get queues too because there’s only 3 or 4 layers at max for all the servers
On one hand I want more transfers to hit that 50-50 ratio. On the other hand layers started to show up and lag is starting.
this sounds more and more like looking for confirmation bias
Just wait till a que starts.
This sounds like a way to dismiss and discredit someone without actually making a critique or contributing anything.
Detlaff you can stop now. As a log time horde Sulfurite, I can tell you Blizz will no doubt screw this up and there well may be queues, lag and layers in Sulfuras, just what we don’t need. Both horde and ally pops increased dramatically in last week since free xfers off dead/bad/queue time servers. Plenty of leveling allies in STV for example, although horde probably still slightly more levelers. Plenty of horde 70s, both transfers and returning Sulf lvl 70 players for Wrath. Do as one poster says, send an alt there for free and check it out, and decide for yourself. Just know Blizz will stop the free xfers at some point to maximize their $ with paid transfers for pissed players- yet who will still keep playing and paying.
Don’t you put that evil on me Deathwapy Bobby!
Going to copy some Auction House data that I complied for some other people to help make some choices on understanding the servers status right now.
I know it’s not like a 1:1 Comparison for server population, activity, and auction house.
Also this was taken across like 1 hour the morning of the 6th, so it will of course change and will fluctuate because of natural changes.
Sulf | OB | Bene | Faerlina | Grobb | Whitemane | Mankirk | Pagle | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Ally | 42k | 25K | 190k | 0 | 120k | 0 | 0 | 133k |
Horde | 79k | 15k | 0 | 192k | 124k | 126k | 145k | 0 |
Total | 121k | 40k | 190k | 192k | 224k | 126K | 145k | 133k |
For perspective, I was told Sulf AH was <1k and Horde was at ~40k before prepatch happened.
Hilarous to see people hiding on retail alts doomsaying.
I brought my ally chars to Sulf. it’s been OK. growing every day
Not ideal but queue times are a joke so. beats grobb-A
ill go to your sulfaras once is atleast 70% alliance
I took my main to sulfaras…already found raiding guild with peeps from Benediction…looking hopeful at the moment.
Anti-transfer logic tl;dr:
“I don’t want to transfer to a dead server! You say it’s not dead? Lol if that were true you wouldn’t be here simping for it! Oh it really is true? Lmao so now it’s just going to become a megaserver with its own queues too”
It’s almost like they don’t actually care about the status of the server they’d be moving to, they just want to be obstinate and bull-headed resisting it…
But is there faction balance?
Then ppl started selling stuff for DKs and boosted chars.
This post is cope/propaganda from people tired of queues. Don’t fall for it, hold the line and make Blizzard actually do something about the 6 hour queue times.
