I don’t know how “nobody cares about these rewards” always comes up in threads requesting their return.

I agree unlock all of it. Horrible game design to create content for a tiny group and deny the more extensive active player base a chance to get the same mogs and appearances.

I think that it’s the best middle ground if they were to bring them back. Think of it like the tank solo shuffle conundrum where we KNEW they’d continue to have tanks, it’s just that having them in a dps slot would make for more enjoyable games overall.
They already asked about bringing back elite sets and one half was like “ya and make them free” and the other half was like “no” so they just didn’t bring them back.
I’d rather have remastered elite sets, to be honest.

Now that’d be brilliant. 
Even just something like Wrathful updated to modern standards would be great. I really like what they did in tomb what with the t6 remaster.

It’d just be a cool thing for them to pull inspiration from. The sets tied to tier is okay, but just going back and updating a very popular line of sets would be awesome.

I don’t see why not when mythic raid sets are free game expansions later.

Because it’s too late to change that. They had originally planned to remove the meta drakes (naxx 10-25) but backlash lead to them not removing later meta mounts, and then they never did that with raid gear.
Aside from the totgc weps, which…people weren’t a fan of, unfortunately.
