Suggestion to having GMs that are useful

What happened to having GMs who can actually fix games issues? Now whenever I report an issue, they tell me that they are not able to do anything directly and instead to submit a bug report? if that is the case, why even have GMs at all? They seem to serve no purpose whatsoever.

I suggest that you actually give them the ability to assist a customer’s character directly instead of the current system that you use that takes way too long to fix anything.

Well, given the fact that the Game Masters ain’t devs, they’re limited in what they can do. They’re not all mighty beings that can flip a switch and fix whatever someone put in a ticket for. Even then, there are things that need QA to look at and fix. The GMs can’t go into the code and mess with it because someone ask them to.

And no, the GMs didn’t do most of what folks remember them doing. They’re limited by what the devs allow them to. If there’s no workaround that’s there for them to use, they’re not going to go rogue and do it anyway.

Are you saying Blizzard should hire software developers to handle customer service?

They are extraordinarily useful for the things their job is meant to do - Mojachess.

That is not, and has never, been to fix bugs.

This might help shed some light on their function and purpose.

Note - this is just a little out of date on the contact portion, but as far as covering what they do and can’t do, it’s still as accurate as it ever was.

Gee, imagine the chaos that would ensue because we had multiple people attempting to fix a bug every time one happened. The game would be totally broken and not playable at all.

I suggest you stick to your original post instead of jumping into another. Also suggestions and feedback arent collected here.
