They tried this once. It was a huge backlash it’s called MoP. They chased off a lot of customers.
Another thing is I don’t understand Blizzard logic here. There is so much complied bad press and videos that will be there. (So no positive influence) No one would go near it who is possibly impressionable.
That’s why they need to start making great things to talk about, like everyone has been asking for a while. (Which means surprise, quit ignoring the customers)
Another thing let’s be real a majority of the playerbase is getting older. I wouldn’t doubt some are parents. Why would they ever let their children anywhere near a game that has offended its original audience?
Blizzard logic doesn’t make any sense and they need to start making amends. Should start with trying to appeal with it’s original audience. Nah, I don’t want to hear people don’t have time for games. I know adults older than me with children/career and still play games. Blizzard just will not accept statics (numbers) of when the game was when it soared in popularity, including its peak. Sure wasn’t Mists of Pandaria.
