Have hit the point where everyone has all their gear slots filled with raid gear and m+ and no one cares to log in anymore until the next raid. What’s the point of farming a raid that’s going to be obsolete in 5 weeks by normal gear.
Our numbers have dropped huge cause no one liked Uldir to begin with.

It’s not just raiding. My guild went from 40 to 2 active from August to November. An alt of mine is in a guild with 999 members and maybe 30-35 will ever be online. People hate BfA. There’s no other way to put it.

I do hear a lot of complaints about Uldir as well. The bosses just aren’t that great, out side of a couple of them. Its very concerning for the state of wow. A lot of us really wanted to keep raiding.

Personally waiting for 8.1. I have taken the time to use the anniversity buff for my 110s. This coming patch will be the time to level allied races!!!

The game just isn’t that fun right now outside of raid. We’re working on Mythic G’huun and my guild is a ghost town outside of raid hours.
We all enjoy raiding, but outside of that there’s not much content worth doing for most of my guild.

We are finding the same. Most of the content is bland outside of doing our weekly and raiding. People aren’t grouping up to do anything else.

It’s fine for casuals and hardcore raids but I’d say after doing all but panda expansions starting from classic this is by far the most overtuned first tier they have which isn’t great for your middle of the road core gamers. Js
This on top of being able to get your gear from other sources eg warfronts there’s not much motivation to push. I don’t know why they won’t go back to having the last boss dropping a full tier higher gear. Why bother with Ghuun once you get AOTC. Either Nerf him or drop better gear

Every year of wow follows the same pattern, which usually correlates to both content, holiday, school, ect. I’ve seen this in every guild of every ‘hardcoreness’ I’ve participated in over the last 14 years. This excludes the end of expansion lul in which everyone stops for a bit.
Aug-October: Consistent decent turn out
November-December: Downturn in people. Mostly due to holidays, school breaks, flu season, and end of tier.
Jan-May: Decent uptake, usually second tier has more than one raid/content so there is a bit more.
June-July: Down tick again until August. Breaks, vacations, content lull, ect.
These shift a month or so depending on patches but are usually pretty consistent every expansion.

We haven’t had a ton of issues with people logging in for raids now that we’ve started doing Mythic. However its been hard to recruit people to fill out our roster, we usually end up having to PUG 2-3 people. This ends up majorly hampering our progression since we struggle to fill on our second raid night as people don’t want to join in progress IDs.

It’s the holiday season.
Overtime if you work in retail, overtime if you work in finance for a company that ends their fiscal year this quarter.
A ton of preparation for the holidays in general.
New games to play.
Most people have other things to do so there’s less interest in farming content that’s already been done over and over.

It is also that time of year. The holidays. Plus, the new raid is coming out and a lot of guilds have hit their goals. Having 3 difficulty levels (not counting LFR) makes people get burned out a lot faster raiding. Not everyone starts at Heroic level. A lot do normal then heroic then if they have 20 will do mythic.

I haven’t raided this tier at all
I don’t find Uldir to be very fun, and there are no tier sets to collect. The gear we can get it pretty ugly, so I have no motivation to farm it.

Raiding has become a gold and time sink. Also become bored with the gear you get from raiding, I mean heck my DH doesn’t need anything past fetid… That’s a problem. There’s no incentive to waste gold/ resources.
-transmog is awful
-no class transmog
-gear is crap
-flasks and pots are expensive
-repairs are expensive
-people still don’t know content
-easy to get burned out
It’s just not worth the time anymore, especially since all the gear you get from it will be irrelevant in a couple weeks/ months

Honestly, Uldir wasn’t all that fun. While I’m not an AoTC raider by any means, even at a casual level the raid just felt…meh. None of the bosses really felt interesting or engaging, and frankly…I’m kinda bored with the “Spooky Red Old God” themes after EN.
Honestly, thats how I’d describe this raid tier: Emerald Nightmare…but less fun. While you could say that EN was faceroll easy, at least I had fun doing it and at least there were actual lore characters involved, not like Uldir which was all new characters with zero story for the Alliance players. Whoever thought that one faction should get all the story content of a raid tier and the other should be left for dry should be fired immediately.
EDIT: Not only that, but the little detail of Old Gods related characters whispering you creepy messages was fun due to how rare it was. Now it seems like every damn boss these days whisper creepy messages and at this point you kinda just want to tell them to shut the hell up.

We haven’t had trouble keeping 20 but it has had flux. The biggest problem has been the lack of a skip to the last few bosses lack we have had in the past. Guild members are tired of having to clear the entire raid to get to what people still need. That burn out has effected some in to not logging on during raid time or signing up. Other than that we have enjoyed Uldir progression thus far but I would be lying if I wasn’t curious as to how things will be between now and Jan.

The winter/fall holiday’s are always rough when it comes to attendance.
In terms of player drop off, the start of the expansion hype has ended so people have lost interest and it doesn’t help that BFA is pretty mediocre so far with a lot of problematic systems that hinder the raiding scene.
Always be prepared to lose someone though. Never stop recruiting else you’ll end up in situations where it feels impossible to recover from.
Noticed a small dip in our guild, but all of the reasons we were given were Holiday or personal reasons. No one left due to lack of content and we’ve already had some people return after Thanksgiving anyway. We’ll probably see another small slide as we get halfway through December, even with 8.1, but then most if not all should be back by the next raid’s launch.
I don’t like Uldir. It’s a trash filled raid with uninteresting bosses. The trash before Zul makes me want to log out and never come back. Some folks just go afk and return when the trash is dead. Who can blame them? There’s nothing compelling about 8 pulls, all exactly the same.
We’ve seen a drop off as well, and I may be the next casualty. I don’t need, nor do I want, anything out of Uldir anymore. I find it exceedingly hard to be excited about raid nights. I find Uldir awful, and really just want it to be over.
I’m glad we have Christmas coming up. I can take a break, enjoy my family, and forget about Uldir.

I haven’t either. I have no motivation to do so. I might sit out the whole xpac if I continue to feel this way about the game.
I raided semi-hardcore all through Legion (never got CE, because I’m garbage, but got AotC in week 1 and then pushed M as far as we could), but now… I just don’t care. I haven’t even set foot in H Uldir.
Everything outside raiding is boring. Transmog sets are awful and I don’t care about collecting them. Personal loot is terrible. The RNG on top of RNG kills my motivation. Azerite… just no, forget it, I don’t care. My favorite classes feel clunky and slow, and I have fewer abilities than I had in Legion. Leveling is just a placebo and a time sink. The story is really, really bad.
Activision needs to make some hard corrections to their current development philosophy if they want to make this game fun again.

I honestly don’t find Uldir to be a fun raid at all, in fact I hope they don’t make another raid with those similiar fight styles. There is alot of mechanics that make you inactive a lot during the fights. Just to name a few, being the first one to go through the next chamber on the MOTHER fight, you stop fighting the boss to run through and kill some adds and then you just stand there waiting for the next group. Not very exiciting.
On zek’voz, if you are the first to get the orb and get mind controlled you are literally sitting doing nothing getting CCed by your raidmates for the rest of the fight. Might as well go afk. Sorry, I don’t find that very engaging. I also find the orbs mechanic to be annoying on g’huun. Its not hard, but going out doing some random thing not being a part of the boss fighting to do some orb throwing and hoping that someone doesn’t drop the darn thing( its basically a wipe if they mess it up) its not really fun.
