What’s obtuse is quoting one word and writing a novel about it.
If you complain about bagspace you’re being pretty obtuse. It’s quite literally irrelevant.

All those appearances that you need to collect in vanilla. Mmmm.
Stop being obtuse.
Mouse is broken so excuse the quoting. You really are being intentionally blind though.
Bag space was always a complaint from Vanilla until Cata. But please, continue claiming it wasn’t.
Tell me: since the appearance tab came out: how much more bag space do you have?
Since the mount/pet tab came out: how much more bag space do you have?
Or are we hating on my argument just to hate on it?
Yea, don’t need quest tracking if you have word comprehension, I solo level’d a war in vanilla… secret thing… it’s not that hard if you use your brain a bit.
Very few QoL changes were actually that good to not want to go without, all them you mention I can do without. If anyone thinks that solo leveling in classic wow was/is difficult, I suggest you try out Everquest.
I’m not being blind at all, I’m just not petty.
Those people were just wrong.
Oh Wod’s questing experience was good, the raids were fantastic, with some of the most memorable quotes ever…
You think that was good? You just wait…
You know what is going to be funny. When the money making machine is actually Classic. Sure they are subscribed but that doesn’t mean it is to play retail or that they will even try it.
I actually expect even when the rush is over that the population on Classic will be higher then it is for BfA right now and lets be realistic. It is near if not at an all time low.
This is exactly the issue with retail and this will definitely be the issue in classic.
Their is already a divide on how classic should be implemented, not a good start.
The META. As you can see with retail, M+ & Raids have classes/specs that out shine ours & classic is no different but at least retail’s classes & spec are way more balanced then the classic pigeonholed specs & META.
Once the raids & harder content become available and the frustration of efficiency sinks in, 3rd party tools such as R-IO (or gearscore) will be used to further cement the divide of hardcore/casuals. Blizzard can reject these add-ons but it doesn’t stop 3rd party sites from creating their own tiering system that will be used by the hardcore guild to filter (the so-called buddy’s) & trinkle down to the others players just like retail.
The community is always going to be the problem with classic moving forward. Back in 2004-2006, wow was so populated that finding like minded players was easy but today most of the old community has moved on and now we are in the twitch, twitter & esport era which will definitely create the most toxic environment possible just like we have in retail and most online games today.
Classic is all about nostalgia ATM which is good but once the race for content completion begins, that will be the true breaker of the game.
To be fair, I have been saying its going to die fast all along. I still think it is. Not saying retail is amazing right now and couldnt take a few things from classic and other expansions and add them back, like complexity and danger. Ion really messed up when he decided to take things out of the game because he thought players were to stupid to make decisions.
Agreed. If anything, maybe Blizzard will get the idea of what players do and don’t like and make better decisions for the next expansion.
I mean, I can dream, right?
