I’m sorry if this was posted before but I couldn’t find it. Two questions…

I’m introducing a friend to WoW by getting him to play classic with me. Does he have buy a basic version and then sub or can he just sub the $15 a month and play?

Also will we have to download the BFA client or will the classic client be separate?I’d hate to have to download all that just because I want to play classic.

There might not be answers to these yet but it’s worth a shot to see if anybody knows.

Nobody knows the client as of yet.

He can do the “free” WoW Account and then just subscribe - no need to buy any of the existing retail clients.

Apparently all you will have to do to play wow classic is make an account and subscribe. You won’t have to buy anything. In other words just start paying $15 a month and you can play, that’s it.
