During the Deep Dive panel, we got to see the art for an awesome customizable mount as the seasonal reward for outdoor content. Can endgame Dungeon players expect the KSM mount to be customizable as well?
I have two questions for the dev team.
1- With dragonflight coming to all of Azeroth, will we finally see the portal in Eastern Plaguelands be torn down and allow flight in Eversong Woods, Silverpine Forest and the Ghostlands? Talk about overdue, and this seems like the perfect time to update these three zones.
2- Will we ever see the return of archaeology? Considering the idea of delves and the sheer number of ruins all across Azeroth, it would be a shame if it were abandoned.
Will we see iridikron or hints of his actions within world within or is that still further out?
Pet Battle Question.
Are there any plans to updated the pet battle UI? It still uses the old UI system.
- Adding the breeds in by default instead of needing an Add-on to display it. (Both captured pet and enemy pets)
- Displaying active enemy pet’s abilities instead of using add-ons.
Delve Question:
If multiple players go in, will each player have their own Brann present? Or will only one be able to show up? If the latter, how do we get to pick which Brann goes in?
With the ever removal of the faction divide (loving it by the way), will there be a point where we can visit cities without being attacked, like a toggle function or something?
Will normal flying be available, if kept slower to incentive dynamic flight? Asking as someone who loves dynamic flight, but does get queasy from the motion blur over time.
Will queue-able dungeons be coming soon for cross-faction? Or are there still technical limitations restricting that?
Any hope for curated usability of Engineering items in dungeons? (e.g. choosing to use utility bombs instead of stat potions since they’re on the same CD)
Just to throw it out there - Shaman tank? Evoker tank (dracthyr getting warrior doesn’t count)? Warlock tank (love it for Classic+, 100% gonna main it)?
Guild ‘condensing’? Invite individual characters, but memberships and roles are based on accounts to…well…‘account’ for peoples alts? Especially considering Warbands.
How long is each expansion projected? I like how well thought out they are ahead story-wise, but am worried we’re gonna pay normal expansion prices once a year for them.
Why ‘Hero Specs’? I’m intrigued by the idea, but would be interested in knowing the game-design philosophy intention that lead to them.
On the preorders, you have to get at least the Heroic version in order to get the dynamic flight mount, but according to the description you need to purchase that version to get access to the ‘special racecourses’. Does this mean that game content is locked behind that purchase?
One of my biggest joys in retail right now is pet collecting and battling. Would you ever consider adding pet breeding as an aspect of the collecting game? Could be an interesting way to chase new stat or ability sets, could just be a way to chase more color variants, but cross-breeding to chase interesting new pets could be really fun. Could even tie into crafting if, say, you can only get some mechanical pets by having an engineer break specific existing pets down for parts to create the new one with new ability combinations. Could see this being something you need to put out work orders for, to engineers as well as enchanters, alchemists, even leatherworkers, blacksmiths or tailors.
Any chance for Enhancement Shamans to equip 2 handed weapons yet?
If frost DK can choose , why can’t Enhancement Shamans ?
Dragonflight brought such a significant overhaul to professions, what do you all think of how it turned out? Any plans for professions in The War Within you’re willing to share? Would love to see some particularly cool things from engineering, what with the earthen factions we’ll be meeting and the great foundries they work in.
Edited to add: I recently was finally able to play through Legion with a crafter and loved the progression of crafting quests as ways to learn recipes from NPCs. Would you ever consider implementing something like that again? It’s been wonderfully immersive and feels like a very natural way to learn things from a role-play perspective.
How concerned are you with preserving the feeling and pace of classic wow? I noticed several people who got a chance to play live at blizzcon mentioned feeling like the abundance of abilities made the game lose its classic feel.
Will you make new and old raids and dungeons on the same loot as the current expansion give out.A explain is in final fantasy 14 if you want to go back and do a old raid or dungeon you can there a match making system that syncs up that person level plus item level. The other thing is in final fantasy 14 if a raid group dies instead of running back you just respawn at the boss for another pull there no rebuffing or wasting time eating flask summing everything is still there. My other idea is can you give us the ability to purchase a ship or fleet where you can sail over over the world explore Azeroth with no restrictions. On top will you ever give us player housing and a necromancer trinker class the other thing I was thinking is what ever you guys do for classic you should add in retail to.
for season of discoveries, are there any discussions/reservations about possibly adding originally planned playable races as part of the season? I’ve heard in the past ogre and naga were considered for vanilla wow launch.
is it possible for demon hunters to be able to fly with their wings with the introduction of dynamic flight?
yeah unfortunately those are the exact same requirements for dragon flight (which is current). I am finding it difficult to believe The War Within and Dragon Flight have same requirements.
Any chance at adding a bookshelf tab in the collections window? If we aren’t going to have player housing where I can store all the books I keep around for the lore, I’d love a kind of bookshelf to add them to and be able to go back and search and reread them. Would be a great complement to the archeology journal without tying up so much bag space.
When will Dracthyr get added class like Mage?
Will the UI developers be adding more customization options to the HUD Edit Mode?
- Moveable bags, toasts, menu windows, etc.
- Resize controls added to elements missing them
- Hide elements or show-on mouseover options.
- Linking Dungeon/Raid loot pop-ups to the actual loot window…that can be moved, or the ability to move them separately.
I appreciate all the options already added, I’d just like to see it go a bit further.
Will there be Delves that are fixed and have no random elements?
I loved progressing through Withered Training, Horrific Visions, and even Torghast after the progression system was put in. A big allure of dungeons and raid are the fixed nature of them. They are a puzzle to figure out and conquer with the tools you have available. I would love solo content(scalable with friends is always great) that is a challenge and not just a random kill fest everytime
What are the plans for crafting? Will we continue with the Dragonflight system? Hoping the answer is no.
Will we ever have more Archeology sites?
when classic first released, I chose to roll a priest because I wanted to play a specific spec, often times I would find some pressure to play an alternate spec but was able to stick firm to my choice partly because of the cost/ inconvenience that comes with changing specs in classic. Will there be a similar semi-permanent nature for the runes in season of discovery or will we see people swapping runes mid dungeon or possibly even mid pvp encounter?
