a lot of your questions have already been answered in the deep dive segments for The War Within from BlizzCon.
Not everyone watched the deep dive, so chill.
I’m simply explaining to them? Everything’s fine.
Please bring back Brawler’s Guild! This is my favorite piece of content in WoW ever. It doesn’t even have to be constantly updated, just keep it playable please.
For the love of starlight can we make the quest log not be limited “to 35” but more sensibly sorted to something “per xpac space” ?
Also i don’t know if you devs have noticed but I can probably take an emptied high level char (if I can find one, or should make it by abandoning quests? - Nooooooo i haaaaaaaaate abandoning) and fill that entire list with dailies, repeatables, and weekly in no time flat. Well maybe a few minutes. Flight taxis take a while you know.
OH yeah flight taxis! Can we earn new imagery for flight taxi
Possibly based on achieves?
- got enough Shadowlands / Zereth Mortis achieve? be able to opt the “titan whorl” as flypoint taxi
- got enough Battle for Azeroth ? how about that turtle scroll FP wisp?
- got enough Legion achieve? use your class hall mount, or get arcanely teleported to the next site, nar’thalas floor runes included.
- pandaren kite, I mean, you already have the movement art for that one.
For people who get motion sick, or to give us something to decently fight for, how about some teleport-to-next-FP options per xpac “art style” too
- Northrend acheives and Northrend zone? frost all the local surfaces over and ice brick us, then fade in the new site
- Pandaria, cloudy mists and jade outlines
- essentially the “flight whistle” mechanics but the region’s local spirit applied somehow. I loved flight whistle. Also it doesn’t get my housemate motion sick. She usually just sets the taxi and leaves the computer so she doesn’t have to look…
Hello Kaivax,
I play this game pretty on and off, as I suspect a lot of people do. I’m excited for the new content coming but unfortunately I’m concerned that it will just be the same situation where myself and others come back to play the new patches for a month or two and then quickly get bored after raiding and mythic+ and leave for other games again.
It just feels bad that this game has a habit of releasing content only for it to be irrelevant a few months later, let alone an expansion later.
Guild Wars 2 for example has a great way of handling this because of a non-increasing level cap. All of the end-game content is still worth doing in that game regardless of expansion and because of that I’ve been playing it regularly since launch.
WoW is a gold mine of content but 90% of it isn’t worth doing unless you want transmogs. It would be really healthy for the game and probably easier on the dev team if there weren’t raised level caps every expansion. I know some would argue that people would just not do some of the quests and content, but if that’s the case was that content worth doing to begin with?
As a long time player I’m tired of playing just a patch and then whether I enjoy something or not, after 6 months I’ll most likely never touch it again. Best case scenario I’d love to see old content return and a flat max item level across the board. People would still be grinding for gear like you guys love, but it would be across a huge variety of raids and dungeons.
I understand this would be a pain to balance for a bit, but I think the community would love it since one of the biggest things we continuously ask for is revamped old content. It would also help alleviate trying to reinvent the wheel with new systems and whatnot every expansion. I know this would be a tremendous amount of time and work, and I can’t speak for everyone, but I’d love to just see an expansion where it’s this, even if it took years of work.
At this rate, even if the content you’re releasing is good, players are more than tire of feeling like their time in game isn’t respected, and let’s be honest, it currently is not. Despite that, many of us still love the game, the classes, and the lore. Thanks for reading my rant if you made it this far.
A major feature of Dragonflight was improving crafting and professions. What do you think were the best successes of the new system, and what lessons have you learned that you plan to carry forward into War Within?
With dynamic flying being everywhere soon on nearly all flying mounts, can we see some kind of cool updates to ground mounts that make them worth hopping on every so often? Maybe something like dragon riding but for ground mounts?
Is there any interest adding rogue-like game modes like torghast in the future?
While torghast was limited in scope to an extent, and quickly became tedious due to the frequency of forced runs, torghast was a very cool piece of content.
I would very much like to see this type of content return in the future.
Will Warbands work across multiple regions for collections?
My OG account is in EU and has many cool stuff I collected over a decade ago. Now I play on US server and trying to collect stuff seems pointless as the cool stuff I have can’t be accessed.
Random thought popped into my head! Any thoughts on giving Vulpera fluffy hairstyles of their own? I want to grow my fur out on my head! Worgen and Pandaren get to! Why not me?
Will we get permanent wrath classic server options blizzard?
Will Chi-Ji be involved in Anduin’s return to some sense of personal peace?
Will there be multiple questlines related to the Hero Specializations that we will be able to unlock similar to the Legion Order Hall Questlines?
I’m very much looking forward to the Hero Specializations and while I personally hope to become a fully ranged Death Knight Necromancer that can sling plagues, Death Coils, Unholy corruption, curses, and dispense minions; it just won’t feel good if it’s just given to me after hitting a level requirement or after a tiny five minute quest.
Also, will DKs finally be getting new eye colors to match the flavors of our class like red, green, orange, and purple?
Thanks,
Arkta
Hey did have a question, it wasn’t shown during BlizzCon so under stand if it’s not addressed, but do you think adding in a androgynous body type to the game could be done? I think it would be easy enough to take the female models and just tweek them abit, then again I don’t know I haven’t done any kind of computer modeling before.
To add onto this, I would love to know if cross-faction LFG is ever going to be a thing. I have alliance friends who I would love to do dungeons with but we’re not a full 5 man group and so we can’t play together in that way.
I think it’d be cool (pun intended) if Frost Spec and Arcane Spec shared a Summoner hero spec where all the features were really that you call your Familiar permanently (for frost obv Water Elem) and all the “features” from the points evoke art from the elemental sidekick.
It would really feel like they’re coming to our side and helping
We don’t have to “be a pet class” to have a friendly aide.
Hi so this is a question pertaining to the natural progression of the quest system in wow. Is there any plans to revamp the way the quest system works to make it more concise? For example I not to long ago decided to hop into playing wow Dragonflight and was immediately hit with quests ranging from BFA, shadowlands and Legion. To me it felt as though there wasn’t a clear path to completing the expansion sets in an orderly flow. As a relatively new player (last time I actually played was wrath as a kid) I feel it throws alot of tasks onto new players and leaves them with a sense of not knowing what exactly to do. So im curious to see if there is any plans to address this lesser issue. Thank you for taking the time to read if you happen to see this.
side note: If an example is needed of what Im talking about look at FFXIV quest flow as I play that and wow.
For the acheivements being joined account wide.
Q1 will the progression of achievements be joined as well? If I’ve earned 70k kills on one chacter and 80k on another do we combine the two for blood thirsty achievement? And same for rep wise ect.
Q2 if I’ve had earned 2k rating way back when, will my new characters already unlock there mog gear for high warlords?
Thank you,
Mal
this please!
