Are there any plans to expand the support role beyond being locked to a single spec? Originally, WoW had a lot of this present for both Shamans and Paladins, and I’d love to see that kind of capability expanded to multiple classes again (or “brought back” to classes again).
I would like to ask if the Naga will be involved or not? True clarification. They are connected to ancient elven lineage, they are desply connected to the void/old gods, and they had a presence in Quel’thalas before. It was said during Gamescom they wouldn’t be involved, but we can see their camp in the background of parts of the Void Hunter video.
Epic Battlegrounds consist of 66% of my playtime, (and I’m not alone) What is your goal with keeping Epic Battleground engaging and balanced?
Some of the epic battlegrounds have not been tuned for years like Isle of Conquest glaives getting 1 shot by anything looking at them.
Players mass leaving after losing the first fight so they can re-queue and fish for a win on their alt, sending a massive backfill rotation into a losing battleground where people just keep joining and leaving.
Can we get more epic battlegrounds like the Warfronts/Tol Barad and SSvTM brawl into the Epic BG Rotation?
When can we expect to get cross-faction Epic Battlegrounds? It is one of the only solution to keep premade team balanced and avoid a 30man premade vs pugs.
Can we get a map update on all battlegrounds? Line of sight through the ground is getting old. We need modern battlegrounds with real objects that break LoS.
What are the resources going to be called for the zones we’re playing in?
Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands typically already have Peacebloom, Earthroot, Silverleaf, Copper Ore, Rough Stone, Tin Ore, etc… But we can’t possibly use those again for this expansion (unless I now need to massively farm herbs and ore in Elwynn Forest in advance), so what are they going to be called?
Are there any plans to address fundimental issues with healer mana regeneration? More specifically, the growing disconnect between the need to sit and drink to restore mana between encounters and the focus on timed content which results in groups rarely allowing combat to drop.
Will we see customizations for current races expanded in a meaningful and considerable way, perhaps with a team dedicated to its expansion like the player housing team?
Players have been requesting a lot in every which direction there and many I know have become disillusioned by Blizzard not expanding this while still providing great armor sets, and new Allied Races with a lot of options compared with previous races. Now with a team dedicated to player housing could we see a team dedicated to character customization?
Will the Prey system make all mobs in the target zone more challenging, or only the Prey target + world quests unique to the Prey system?
Are there plans to bring Heroic World Tier to retail WoW, and if so - will it let us replay past expansion quests, zones, and campaigns with our max level characters as part of our endgame loop?
Are there any plans to adjust the lower range of the dungeon experience? Specifically, is Blizzard happy with how players are engaging with normal, heroic, mythic, and low level M+ dungeons? Have you considered making non-timed dungeons more challenging, even bringing M0 up to parity with T11 delves in terms of challenge and rewards?
Hi devs!
I’m super excited for Void Elf Demon Hunters! In your article Midnight: Embrace the Void with the Devourer Specialization, it said:
“Players will gain access to the new Void Elf Demon Hunter combination through a short quest line as a part of the Midnight pre-expansion content update…”
Will future new race / class combinations have a short quest line to explain their addition? Or is this something unique to Void Elf Demon Hunters?
While this is a good post, I think you would be better off breaking it down into like 2-3 separate/individual questions instead for the best chance of getting one of these questions noticed or picked
I’ve watched enough Q&A’s over the years to know that these long “writing a book” posts tend to get overlooked, seems like they mainly answer the posts where it’s basically 1 (one) question where the question is straight-to-the-point (example: “are we getting new hair colors for X?”)
