Sub time for invite

I unsubbed a few months ago due to not playing the game, so does that affect my “sub dedication” for a beta invite or how does that work? If a blizzard employee could confirm this that would be amazing.

I’ve seen people,in the beta, on the forums so far say their accounts have started very early in vanilla but sub times are ranging from never lapsing to just resubbing a few days ago

Beta Invites and Subscription Time

As to being subscribed - it is binary. You either are, are you are not. If you do not wish to stay subscribed at the moment, I certainly would not encourage that for the slim chance at being chosen to partake in the very limited beta.

I’ve been playing on and off since WotLK and skipped cata entirely. My sub was currently lapsing and I got my beta invite today. Don’t think any of that matters, just need to have an active sub.
