Sub refund

OP posted on Sept. 12.

i don’t understand how after one of the worst xpac’s ever released people are still complaining about a delay. would you rather just play a glitchy/unpolished xpac which still needs ptr testing?

Normally I feel if you pre-purchase something that comes with goodies then you shouldn’t get a refund, but like you said, as they had a set launch date all the way up until 3 weeks before launch then I definitely agree that those who want a refund should be allowed to get one along with those who returned and paid for 3 months or more to get ready for the launch.

I don’t mind the delay but they should have pushed it back a lot earlier than a few weeks to go.

LOL

Go whine to Billing Department then, get your refund, and bugger off.

It is beyond my understanding that anyone would schedule their vacation time around a freakin game release. Seems they need to get a life!

It was nerfed to the ground.
14 hours is the standart now.

yes, the delay is a good thing and was very much needed. but blizzard DID set certain expectations by announcing and promoting a set release date. people are also justified in being upset about the plans that they made based around that date.
This isn’t a matter of black and white who’s right and who’s wrong, blizzard was right to delay the release, but players who made major decisions based on blizzards announcements also have a right to be upset about it.

i agree 100% you made your purchase based on what you were told by them.
they did not or are not going to deliver.

you deserve a full refund.

there are people that schedule their vacation around hunting season.
sports.
Christmas.
when the bulls are running in Spain.

this is not an odd thing.

You do not speak for me.

And yet, they did. It’s in the email they sent to everyone who bought the expansion.

If you file a ticket they’ll probably refund or suspend the account so you don’t lose any time on it.

I fixed it for you.

I mean this company keeps making weird choices.

It wasn’t really a “choice”; or maybe it was just irony forcing their hand into a “meaningful choice”?

“If you decide you can ship the order later, you must seek the customer’s consent to the delay
The customer must have sufficient advance notification to make a meaningful decision to consent to the delay or cancel the order.”

"[must include] a statement that, if the customer chooses not to wait, the customer can cancel the order and obtain a full and prompt refund;

Financial literacy is a rare trait in the US. People spend money they don’t have on “luxury” crap they don’t need and then whine that the government needs to take care of them or that they’re too poor to afford necessities like food. If $15 or less per month is such a stretch for you that you want a refund then you really need to learn how to save.

“Yeah Verizon, I paid my phone bill this month cuz I thought I’d make a lot of phone calls. But it turns out my friend isn’t gonna call me anymore so you should give me my money back”

Not how the world works. Don’t buy a sub if u don’t want a sub

File a ticket OP. They might actually refund.

 and this was my responce

Issue ID: #75479082

Your ticket has received the following response:

Hello Anthony,

My name is Game Master Slarilath and I understand you would like a refund for World of WarcraftÂź: Complete Collection due to Shadowlands being delayed.

After an extensive review of the circumstance you have described, we have determined that your account does not qualify for a refund. This purchase is too old.

The complete collection is a bundle that comes packaged with a pre-order of Shadowlands. However, we are not able to issue partial refunds.

I know this isn’t the answer you were looking for, and not the one I’d like to be giving.

If this resolves your issue, please choose “Mark as Resolved” above. If you have additional questions or concerns, you may choose “I Still Have a Problem” to reply to this message.

Until then, take care!
