Based on a cursory search of the forums it looks like it’s been like this for 5-6 hours, and also affects the Wrath and Classic servers so it’s something centralized.

I also am able to log in but have no characters showing up now, very frustrating.

Same for my characters on Kael’thas and Grizzly Hills, but I was able to log into my characters on Area52. So I’m thinking certain realm clusters are borked.

Same here. It started for me when I was queued for LFR and once I accepted, it got stuck on that loading screen. After a few minutes I decided to restart my PC and have been unable to get in since.

Was on and everything was fine. Killed Ol’ Eary for the Pirate’s Day event. Seemed to of lagged out so reloaded game. Can only see toons on the Tournament realm. Nothing in the US region.

I can connect on my toons on Medium or Low pop servers, but not on the High pop servers (Lothar/Grizzly Hills).

was looking over other posts, even 4 hrs ago there were problems. someone even mentioned no Dreamsurge… so they are really having problems… well now what to do lols! guess go play my Wii lols

Same issue for me as well. Logged on earlier to check my vault after reset, and it was fine. Now logging on for the evening, and no joy.

was headed to the last boss in a key when it started acting weird tried relogging and no cigar.

Same issue. One of my accounts works but many do not.

Just dittoing this. Still no characters after about 30 mintues of trying. “Error retrieving character list”

Yeah kinda the same boat able to log on to Illidan and Proudmore just not Ghostlands or Lothar
