Stuck at "Retrieving Character List"

I was in game, then my whole party disappeared and I couldn’t loot, cast spells, logout, or exit. So I force quit the game and now i’m stuck at “Retrieving Character List”

Same here. Was in a delve and suddenly. Couldn’t interact with anything. Now I can’t retrieve characters.

Same, just now. Came here to see what’s up. It is Friday the 13th though, so maybe the smol indie gaem compny just collapsed under bad luck.

Experiencing the same thing. Went to log in for the first time today, and was immediately hit with the “Retrieving character list” loading screen infinitely.

Same. One WoW account is fine but the other keeps getting stuck at Retrieving Character List.

Huh, yea same here. Can log into an old account but not my up to date one.

Same here, rare killing in Twilight Highlands. I wonder if this is another Cox issue.

I can’t log in either. About ten minutes ago was in the Maw and boom. Nothing responding. I close the game, try to log back in, and am constantly watching the character screen trying to load/retrieve.

Same, had to force quit due to a dungeon not loading. Tried to log back in and hit with a I am "Retrieving character list”. Can not change realms or anything. Can’t even exit the game.

Ddos attack, server error, someone messed up with coding?

Pick a card, any card.

Its not a cache, WTF, or Interface issue.

Both hubby and I can’t login to Moonguard, stuck at retrieving character list.

I really don’t know how Blizz can still have server issues like this, it’s just mind blowing at this point. 20+ years later and we still have these problems.

I’m on Moonguard as well. Maybe they nuked the server?

Main license stuck on retrieving character list on Moon Guard. Meanwhile logged into wow 3 license perfectly fine on Emerald Dream

Yeah, logged off a Wyrmrest Accord toon, tried logging into a Moon Guard toon, I get stuck at Retrieving Character List when ‘switching servers’. Closed the client, tried my WrA toon again and logged in just fine, although I’ve been having an issue with trying to transfer currencies (was the reason I tried to log into an MG toon in the first place) where it’s stuck, on all characters, saying “Retreiving data” with a spinning arrow

I’m also Moon Guard. I was trying to enter the Molten Front but I wasn’t able to go through the portal so I thought it was a time issue so on my way to Chromie but then wile I was mid air I got DC ed . Now I’m just stuck in RCL

First time log in today and I am experiencing the same issue along with a friend. Hopefully they fix it soon. I really want to get my Love is in the Air dungeon kill done.
