For amusement, when the server stabilizes, I get to see whether I have 4 characters (which is what I logged off with last time) or whether I made up to 3 more characters. Bets anyone?

Recommendation for those helping with the stress test. If you are losing interest or actually feeling emotionally affected. I would recommend stopping. This obviously will not be a “fun” activity, but will hopefully help Blizzard out. I am enjoying how we are sharing where we are on the servers though which is making this less monotonous.

@Nzete - I had all my 3 toons I had created and I still belonged to a guild. Nothing had changed since I last played with my toon.
That’s the only mindset to have, man. I’m not actually even interested in Classic, but if doing this testing helps make it better for those that do want it, I’m all in.
Edit: I started WoW back in the day in 2005 on patch 1.7, so what I mean is this; I’ve played it and don’t feel the need to revisit it. It’s not a diss on Classic or anyone who’s interested in it.

They will be there. For the very beginning, the one character I had from prior test was present.

2:30 PM PDT - Logging into game server
2:45 PM PDT - Pitch black character select screen. Eventually DC.
3:00 PM PDT - Pitch black character select screen. Eventually DC.
3:15 PM PDT - Logging into game server
3:30 PM PDT - DC. Logging into game server

I saw the four (priest, warlock, mage, paladin) a couple of times (not that I successfully logged in on any of them). I might or might not have made some more during this stress test. Or I might have clicked “accept” and done nothing. It is the additional characters (druid, warrior, mage) that are in doubt.

Sitting, waiting, passing time with such trivialities.
Yet my mind oft returns to the true issue I must face.
The hand cramps I have from typing my password so many damn times >_<

Been trying since 2PDT on the dot, still stuck at logging in to game server.
because i am an idiot, OBVIOUSLY
My most recent log in attempt has had me sitting at “Logging in to game server” for over 15 minutes so far. I’m not even getting disconnected or kicked out anymore. It’s just stuck there.

We’re testing the login server.
Could have also copied your password to paste in. That or your login name =P
Again. We REALLY want to make sure its nice and strong.
