Im sure data is being logged. My point had nothing to do about it being 1 am. I said why not just have the stress test during the weekend
just play a private server they can handle 5000+ people it seems.
Would be nice if the Night Elf starting zone could stay up for more than 45 seconds at a time…
Okay, so it’s not just Mulgor
Yea im trying to lvl a nelf warrior haha.
Can confirm- no disconnects at all in Tirisfal Glades.
Been online for now 5 minutes . Whoever just gave a hug to the servers… Thank you!
Logged on in Dun Morogh and played for about an hour and a half before quitting. I didn’t run into any problems… other than lack of bag space!
Waited till end of que, then the server was showing offline. Tried a few more times got stuck on Logging onto game server and then it timed out. After a few more attempts I was able to log in and make a character.
Tried to get into the stress test for over an hour but was not successful. Went out for a bit and came back a couple of hours later and was able to login.
Rolled an undead warlock and managed to level up to 5 before calling it quits. There were so many people in the starting area that completing the quests was difficult due to the low spawn rates of the mobs, the single tagging and the lack of an insta-cast spell to allow for mob tagging before some other player could tag the quest mob. This was the most frustrating part for me (even when grouped up with others it was still slow) and what caused me just log out.
@Growlerz, I too just tried to log on to the stress test this morning and couldn’t get in like it was yesterday afternoon same screen. Arent we suppose to be able to play till this afternoon?
Easy answer for this = join a group. Partner up with someone and things get done a lot faster.
I thought it was going to be available for a while but haven’t tried it since last night.
Yes… I was grouped for most of the 5 levels but it was still slow going. The scarlet handkerchief’s (or something like that) was awful ;^)
Is it my client, But my shows no servers again for stress test? I thought i would see new posts about this today but I see nothing about it.
Is it a issue on my end or is this happening to everyone? or did they end this earlier then announced ?
Thanks
Came home last night 5CST, made dinner, watched TV, and finally got to WoW around 830 to 9. Realized servers were up and working so I played for an hour and a half with no issues sans the fact that it’s decently populated so the first few quests took a lot of time.
I made a character around 9PM PST, then world servers were down. Glad to have done my part for the stress test.
I demand a refund for my missed time!
(Sarcasm)
Same thing was happening at UC
Every time the server would crash it would reset my set Interface Options. It would also remove some buffs. I’d re-enter the game and my mana would be at near zero which is not fun when you logon to spiders attacking you. lol Other than that, it was pretty smooth. Around the last hour, servers were unstable and kept kicking me off and tried to get back on with no success.
Settings only save on a clean logout or reload. So, after you make the changes, /reload and it will save them even if you crash.
