finally, have been playing WoW since about a year before BC, I think you should have given veteran players access when the “twitch streamers” did, I don’t see how the playing of the game has some kind of upper tier validity when it comes to them, a lame move imo.

You won’t get a email or notice you have to go to game launcher wher it shows youer acount hit arrow if it says classic stress test you in
make sure on your launcher you have “versions” above the play button and not account. It should show under versions

a) The Beta option is there so you can uninstall it.
b) The other PC needs to update the launcher.

Yes. Because you didn’t pay for early access.
This is a stress test, on unnamed servers. You don’t get your characters from the last stress test, and you don’t get to keep these characters into the live game.
For proof? Every single PTR/Alpha/Beta/Stress Test that Blizzard has ever done.
Please provide any sort of proof that we will keep our characters. The burden is on you to prove the status quo is not going to hold.
I see no assertion from Cougarkait that the status quo will not hold, only a question.

Honestly came to this thread to ask if characters including names will be kept as I have very little if any experience with testing. I have been excited for classic for some time as well as getting involved. It seems that this is going to be a create a toon and population test. This takes a huge load off on creating a toon and getting aquainted especially because character creation is a big deal at least to me. Well done on the info!
On August 13 you get to create your permanent characters and reserve their names.
If they allowed it in the Stress Test, it would literally be jumping that gun.
